Seems like Michele Bachmann gets migraine headaches so bad that she has to stop everything, turn off the lights and go lie down in the dark. Also seems like her staff physically man handled a reporter who was trying to ask her a question about that.

While I can understand-- her brain does seem to be a large dim room with not a lot of furniture in it, so an idea could get lost in there and bump into something, causing damage and pain-- and sympathize-- I've never had migraines, but I've known people who did, some of them good folks, and they're very painful-- this is not a useful trait in a President.

Middle of a debt ceiling negotiation: " I've got a headache and I have to go lay down. You guys figure it out."

The dreaded 3 AM phone call: " We can't wake the President, General Petraeus, she's sleeping off a headache. "

International crisis: " We're sorry, Mr Putin, the President can't pick up the Red Phone right now, she isn't feeling well. Please put the missles on hold. Or you could speak to Vice President Cheney."

And I don't hold this against her because she's a woman-- men get 'em too, I understand that.

I don't care if you missed the other thread, I liked yours better. Made me smile...then frown. She has my sympathy for her migraines, nothing else.

If I were a closeted gay man who bore a striking resemblance to Porky Pig and believed I was going to hell because of my dong longing, I would want a "beard." I would not want to sleep with my beard, ever. Thus, I would want a beard that would not want to sleep with me. For example, a beard that had frequent debilitating headaches.
