Freedom is Important because People are Important

Hello,

Ummm....

I'm wondering if we would ever actually notice? We've been tolerating it for a long time.

What other explanation ?

You'd have to up the stupidity. It's a game, and the stupidest person wins. I suggest we try ratcheting up the idiocy until we hit moron whose head explodes to reveal no brain.

I think we should find a candidate and nominate him for office. He should not know the leader of Libya, nor the his own platform. He should not even know whether Africa is a country or a continent, or how many states the US has.

Clearly, those are not dumb enough, so we need to update them.

He should not know the leader of Libya, or what Libya might be, nor the his own platform, or what a platform might be. He should not even know whether Africa is a county or a consonant, or how many countries are in the US.

Then we should make another one to compete for the other party, and they should have a debate. Where they get to ask each other questions.

I think it would go "Who would win in a fight, batman or superman?" because that's a really dumb question that our morons could come up with.

When we're done, let's make sure one of these guys get the codes to our nuclear arsenal.

Your found hypothesis is fallacious; Bill & Ted were actually smarter than most Republicans & Democrats holding office.
Beavis and/or Butthead would be a more accurate intellectual poster child for this.

I think I qualified as a candidate until you upped the game.

Darn. So close to a true career in politics.

Goooood point.

If Bill and Ted were elected to the presidency and vice-presidency, at least we'd get an excellent time traveling adventure out of it.

If Beavis and Butthead got elected, we'd probably end up invading Iran, collapse economically under overwhelming inflation and deficit, be attacked by terrorists, and fall into a civil war after abuse of martial law.

Well, you could always play the part. An actual moron wouldn't take direction, would walk off stage in the middle of an interview, fail to respond to debate questions or read what was on the teleprompter regardless of whether or not it made any sense.

I guess our candidate has to do all of those too.

Oh yeah, right. I keep forgetting.
