Needed at least one more, it seems.

If only the govt were as interested in SPENDING control as it is GUN control.

For the good of the country, dealing w/ the former is far more important than the latter.

No, Mike, ANYTHING he can think of, however unrelated, to diss the left and try to change the subject from one for which he has NO come-back, is more like it.

Tit for tat got us where we are today. If we want to be grownups, we need to resist the ugliness. If we each did, this would be a better reflection on Firefly and a more welcome place. I will try.

I reckon it was someone he knows, or else he wouldn't have let them get in his space so easily. Its sad when anyone dies who has little ones at home. Its sad when anyone gets killed anyway, even if they don't have little ones at home.

Gun-toting soccer mom found shot dead

LEBANON, Pa. — A mother of three who became a voice of the gun-rights movement when she openly carried a loaded pistol to her daughter's soccer game was fatally shot along with her husband, a parole officer and former prison guard, in an apparent murder-suicide at their home.

Autopsies were planned Friday for Meleanie Hain, 31, and Scott Hain, 33, who were pronounced dead shortly after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at their brick home in this small city about 80 miles west of Philadelphia.

The couple's 10-year-old son and daughters ages 2 and 6 were home at the time, police said. The two older children ran outside and told neighbors that their father had shot their mother, neighbors said. The children are being cared for by neighbors and relatives.

Toys lay scattered across the corner lot Thursday in the tree-lined neighborhood where the family lived and where Meleanie ran a day care center. A car parked in the driveway bore a badge-shaped sticker that read "NRA law enforcement."

Gosh, if only she'd had an RPG or a tactical nuke, because all their guns didn't defend her for shit.

Yeah. Because anyone willing to murder and then suicide themselves would never use anything else other than a gun.

Blame the tool, not the killer.

Idiot.

At least you admit that it's the Left that wants to take our $ and spend us into oblivion.

But there IS no 'come back' to Kwickie's OP, because the OP is a total non sequitur from its premise. There are no facts presented here which tell us what happened. There were over 500 murders in Chicago alone, yet Kwickie chooses to single out this one incidient, because it's anecdotal association to a guy who owned guns and advocated for gun rights. No hint of what really happened here, or why. He's just looking at the story though a pin hole, and all he sees is GUNS!!!

GUNS BAD!

GOVT GOOD!

Machineguns aren't "banned"; they're regulated. They're still legal to own and fire, PROVIDED you follow the regulations regarding them.

Similarly, the firearms industry hasn't been "banned", so your point is really an epic FAIL.

Perhaps you're what's wrong with the right. You need to get your hearing checked. Or you have a problem with your brain missing.

But none of that should come as any surprise to anyone who's ever read any of your drivel.

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Teacher talks armed student into giving up, police say

Quote:

(CNN) -- The teacher stood in the classroom, face-to-face with his 16-year-old student, who was holding a shotgun.

Ryan Heber, 40, talked to the teen, trying to persuade him to end an armed assault in which one student had already been shot. Heber had no idea whether the student -- whose pockets were filled with ammunition -- would put the gun down or pull the trigger. Campus supervisor Kim Fields helped distract the teen, allowing other students in the classroom to escape, while Heber talked to him, according to CNN affiliate KGET.

Eventually, the teen let go of the gun, and police took him into custody....

Heber, who teaches science, is known as a well-liked teacher at the school, according to his father, David Heber. He is himself a graduate of Taft, where he played football and served as student body president. David Heber wasn't surprised that his son played a key role in diffusing the situation, saying Ryan Heber makes a point of getting to know his students -- including the suspected gunman -- on a personal level.

"Because he knows the boy and the boy knows him ... I attribute that to why the boy talked and listened to my son," David Heber said. "It's all about kindness. It's all about my son being kind and caring about his students that makes this successful."

Oh, wait! He didn't NEED a gun!

AB-solutely hysterical, considering the source and the individual incidents he choses to "single out" to make his point...about Muslims, about guns...regularly!
