And now with CATO finally compiling the statistics which prove that it's not a "few bad apples" but a rotten barrel of wholesale, widespread, institutional corruption, it can no longer be denied that the badge bearing horde is not the best of us, but in truth the worst.

And instead of denying the insanity now that it's all out in the open, trying to clean up their act and be professional, they embrace it, knowing that as state-sanctioned bullies they will rarely if ever be held accountable for it, and even when they are, since the lawsuits are paid from tax income it comes out of their victims, not their hides.

PS. We have some fat red squirrels around here which are more or less pets since the residents feed them and thus they're not shy of humans whatever, and in fact are pretty bold - no way are they any kind of dangerous though, and if some yahoo with a badge went and pulled this shit on our property, it'd be a tossup whether some resident or me decked him first.
