That experiment by Fleischmann and Pons at the U of U that was debunked a decade ago is an interesting story... And maybe not so wrong as you might think.

Some of these claims are more plausible than the others (I find the 5 ppm helium thing particularly suspicious - so it only just so happened that when a journalist came by the numbers had risen to exactly the concentration in ambient air, surrrre, right) and of course the article was written by a journalist and not a scientist. We'd have to see the data. But some of it IS curious.
