Some may say that there is a delay due to "ideological differences" while others would say it's because she's not qualified. But to have Giuliani come to her defense is somewhat strange, to say the least.

Discuss.

To me those "ideological differences" is code for something, but I just don't care enough to really delve into the "whys" and "wherefores." But Lynch definitely has the smarts, and Giuliani knows this first hand, and based on her being able to do the job is all that should matter. And he is entitled to his opinion. To me, the reasons she hasn't been confirmed to this point are many, but here are a couple off the top of my head:

1- The hatred for anything Obama; 2- GOP dysfunction; 3- Pushing a ultra-conservative agenda. You know, like taking away the right to vote and women's issues. They tried to hold America hostage with that whole withholding funds for DHS. Yeah, that worked! Now their attempting to do the same with the Human Trafficking Bill. Which is beyond me, since Republicans hate Holder so much, you would think they would want him out of there ASAP. As for Giuliani, who knows, except that he has seen her in action, up close and personal, and actually has respect for her abilities, regardless. Dysfunction or no, the Republicans have shown little in unity and political smarts that, it seems apparent, they're rolling a boulder uphill............Capitol Hill that is.

Obama is hateworthy. He's a bald faced liar. And a collectivists. I don't know anyone in DC who is pushing a " ultra " Right wing anything. It's all moderate to standard Right wing. No one is taking anyone's " right to vote " ( insert laugh track here ) away, nor " womens issues ", which is such an empty statement, it ought not even have been mentioned.

The DHS thing was all , once again, Obama's fault. He's violating the US Constitution, and only a handful of Republicans even give a fraking damn. I say good for them, though. Too bad the rest of them are gorram cowards.

Agreed.

Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen

Agreed.

Hand in your T Party Right Wingers Club card, you must be desperate agreeing with yours truly. Are you having trouble at home? Has Rush abandoned you for someone much older and more decrepit? There, there!

The rest, well, it was close but NO, you have to go back to Right Wing school for a better answer.

You're confused. The TEA Party conservatives don't run Congress. The GOP leadership is ignoring the will of its own constituents, the very folks who voted for them and expected them to make a difference. So far, all they've done is roll over and play like Obama's B.

You said there was a lack of unity and smarts on their part, and I agreed.

They should only confirm her on the condition that she agrees to indict and prosecute Holder for his crimes.

Perhaps I am a bit confused - up is down, earth is sky, black is white.......yep, I'm a goner.

At first, I was upset that the GOP took control of Congress, but now I've seen the light, halleluah I've been reborn!

They have done nothing but make matters worse, and their collecting a paycheck (our tax dollars hard at work) obstructing the normal course of business in DC. They might as well be doorstops for all the good they do.

And this is what you guys wanted!?

You actually thought they would have the balls to actually carry through their empty threats of impeachment and repeal! Think again! You've been hornswaggled! Obama is no more to blame about the inept Congress than you or I. Truth be told if you voted for any of these assholes who look to undermine the president, well, you deserve to be FOOLED AGAIN!

STOP LISTENING TO RUSH and think for yourself. Then maybe this country will pick itself off the ground and be great again. You really think that Ted Cruz is presidential material? He'll wet himself if ever he had to make the decisions that Obama has had to make. He talks a good game, which is basically REPEAL this, but has no real substance. McConnell and Boner are scared shitless, like a deer in the headlights. Their balls were cut off the moment they gave in to the Sequester. Good luck helping them find them!!!

Rush really has you guys convinced, doesn't he!?

Bring it on! Have him indicted for his "crimes" against the state..........wait, the GOP hasn't got a legal leg to stand on.

Please, educate me on just what laws he has violated. Call Rush, maybe he knows.

Are you hopelessly confused or stupid?
Your posit mentioned Republicans. Your reply mentions Tea Party, which the Republicans hate. The Republicans are spending all their time, money, might to ban Tea Partiers, stop their progress.
Are you so clueless that you don't know that current Republicans are liberals and the only conservatives left are Tea Party Patriots?

Truth be told, I don't give a shit.

Repubs and T-Party - same shit, different consistency.

One wraps themselves in the Constitution, the other beats you over the head with it. Funny thing is: neither knows what their talking about. Neither knows what's in the Constitution, much less knows how important it is to the FREEDOM of it's people.

We the People means something than just pure misguided beliefs surrounding ultra-Patriotism.
