Well... IMHO

GWB is a baffoon who can't follow the damn teleprompter.

Kerry is a damn wishy-washy, fence sitting waffler.
(At least you know who the hell is yanking on GWB's puppet strings).

Nader? Come-on, he's a nice guy, but he's got two tricks in his bag.

What now? I need some education, who are my other real candidates come November?

Well Jason, last election I voted for Harry Browne (Libertarian), and this time I'm voting for Badnarik. Bush and Kerry, I call them Republicrats. They are the same person with a few minor differences on a few issues. In my opinion, if you don't vote your conscience you are wasting your vote.

I wish I could vote for kucinich like I did in the primarys.

I am probably going to vote for Kerry, then immediately do what I can to force him to be a good president. And possibly helping out the democratic party to ensure a better choice in the next election.

Michael Badnarik is a decidedly ordinary computer geek from the Austin, Texas area. He is basically a strict-construction, no-compromise constitutionalist.

He is getting a bit of press, and the Libertarians (and even the small 'l' libertarians, surprising to say) like him pretty darned well. He made a pretty good go of the race for the LP nomination, traveling by private car, staying in cheap hotels, getting by on a few bucks contributed HERE to pay for the drive to THERE. He beat out two candidates with more money, political professionals for support and built in press coverage. Very impressive, and a nice guy.

Will he win? No. Not a chance. Will he advance the cause of Freedom? Possibly. Very possibly. At best, he may actually remind the Republicans that they USED to have principals, and they ignore them at their peril.

Wish I could help you, but I am in the same boat as you. I have always felt that choosing the lesser of two evils is still choosing evil. The last two elections, I have refused to vote for anybody affiliated with the Republicans or Democrats, but have been kind of all over the place (politically) in terms of who I did cast my vote for. The good thing is that even though third parties won't win, voting for them helps boost their political power a little.

I have also been complaining about the choices. Two party systems suck!

As for the other parties, don't write them off just yet. I have read a lot of stuff about people wanting to learn more about the other parties. I think the libertarians have a good shot this time, I know lots of folks considering that vote. I know a lot of people that do not want to vote for Bush but they can't stand Kerry's waffling. I think we can have a third party candidate in office, maybe not this time, but soon. Folks are getting riled up about the big parties.
