Jessica Simpson was supposedly a "Chior Girl" back in the day, but when she wanted to sell those million dollar pipes "for God", supposedly somebody in her family's church suggested that she was too attractive and too well endowed for that line of work...

And so she looked elsewhere for work.... :)

By now, nobody really gives a shit about Jessica Simpson. She's made a ton of money when she could, and she's no Meryl Streep, so we hope she did the best with it.

I'm talking about another girl who fell into that same mold though. Much lesser known, and as far as I know, she only did one semi-risque video which isn't anything compared to any old Pussycat Dolls performance, although it did pre-date their arrival....

Charlotte Church.

I always thought her Stage Name was dubious....

Without posting her original MTV video, I'll just say that I found it particularly arousing. She wasn't your sterotypical beanpole bombshell, but she had that certain something.... (fallen angel syndrome)...

Until tonight, I thought she was never heard from again outside of religous circles, but I was mistaken.

And to tell the truth, I'm actually quite fond of the new video she made. :)

You'd hardly recognize her after 10 years and all the makeup, but then again I doubt many people who hadn't seen me for 10 years would recognize me straight away either.

I have no idea what her religious or political affiliation is today, but I think I really like "Back To Scratch".

I have to say whole hardheartedly that Charlotte looks amazing in her new video.

I'm not saying that I was sure she'd fail, but this is a wonderful development and I hope it continues.

It's a beautiful song and some will feel it's very powerful....
