First it was their stupid restroom policy, now they want to replace humans with robots. Can the robots use any restroom they wish?

You do know there is no magical threshold on bathroom doors that keeps people of the wrong gender out, regardless of any laws or policy they or any other place make, right?

It's not a stupid policy, it's a moot point.

Trans people really aren't coming for the children with glitter and condoms, but there have been several cases where men have indeed put on dresses or wigs and went in the other gender bathroom and assaulted various people.

Maybe we just need to ban men from bathrooms. That'll stop that.

It took several seconds to understand the meaning of the new signage in this Tom Toles cartoon, but it was worth the effort.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

When the wait for the woman's bathroom was too long, and the situation too urgent, and the men's bathroom too temptingly empty, I have used the men's room one or twice. I suppose I could be arrested in N Carolina for admitting that.

At concerts or sporting events, I've seen women ( usually in pairs ) storm the men's room. Now, taking in mind, almost everyone involved are adults ( 18+ ) and many are inebriated.

Have there been times when , no one is around, folks would use single occupancy bathrooms reserved for the opposite sex ? Sure, I doubt that's an arrestable offense. But in every day life, while shopping or what ever, you wander into a public bathroom set up for the opposite sex, and there are others in there, I think you're crossing the line. Unless there's an actual emergency ( I've had that happen, where a woman came in w/ a bladder infection and simply couldn't wait )

Point is... this isn't a real issue. There is no great public outcry to allow access into each other's bathrooms, as there are PLENTY of facilities available.

There are other forces at work here.

I should have also included that the men's bathrooms I used were indeed single occupancy. Just added for completeness's sake. Please don't let me interrupt an ongoing discussion.

I have invited women to use an empty men's room, and guarded the door from other men entering unknowingly. I'm not sure if the legal writings would see that as a problem. It does sound like it would be a problem for both genders to be sharing urinals at the same time.

It's not about bathrooms any more than it was about water fountains during segregation.

It's about wanting to find a way to keep bigots happy, and the GOP is all about that. It's literally the only thing they're running on now.

Denny Hastert, if he gets out of prison alive, will be able to use the men's room with your child. The GOP is just fine with that. They will always protect child molesters over LGBT people, because child molesters are some of their biggest supporters.

Oh hon, I think you missed something in school...lemme just...fix that for you.... There.

Sarcasm is the use of irony to mock or convey contempt.[1] "The distinctive quality of sarcasm is present in the spoken word and manifested chiefly by vocal inflections".[2] The sarcastic content of a statement will be dependent upon the context in which it appears.[3]

The word comes from the Greek sa??asĀµ?? (sarkasmos) which is taken from sa????e?? meaning "to tear flesh, bite the lip in rage, sneer.

PS. If a women tells you that you are right, that's ALSO called sarcasm

I don't have a boy, but if I did it would know how to defend itself just as well as my girl does.

Also, "Supporters?" By the stats, I would say a full 1/3 ARE pedo.
White, male, religious, and pretending to be straight. But now there will be competing lists of which side has more pervs, like we've done 100 times in the past. Yawn.....

I suppose I should let all my female teachers know that you indicated they were not serious - they were always telling me I was right, even when it took them numerous mistakes to figure it out.
So you are saying that only the male teachers who said the same thing, but without making so many mistakes to get to that correct conclusion, were serious, and non-sarcastic.

Now that I think about this more, perhaps you are really stating that all of the women who were too stupid to understand the truths and facts that everybody else could understand were only saying I was right in sarcasm due to their stupidity.
You may choose to imply all these women were stupid, but when offered the choice between "she is stupid" and "she is able to understand concepts that many others cannot, and she honestly realized that I was right" I generally choose the latter, the more generous possibility.

Hey, DS9 was slow but is still pretty awesome. I've watched the whole series 4 times.

And if you were ALIVE in the 90's you at least got SOME of TNG, there wasn't a whole lotta options. Were you in a religious retreat or something??? On the road with Pearl Jam? Offered as a sacrifice?

STTNG started in the 80's, around the time of Fox, which provided lots of options. Wonderful shows such as Due South were also produced during the 90's. I worked night shifts for most of 90's.

Soap Opera DS9 had almost as much space adventure set in one location as new Star Trek films all set on Earth.
