For several months now I'v only been eating solid food on Saturday, Sunday & Wenzday.

Monday, Toozday, Thurzday & Friday I hav a shake for brekfast and only fluidz and a little chocolate for the rest uv the day. I went from around 195 down to 180 within a few weeks and stabilized there.

The idea that got me on this wuz that weeks are passing by at a rapid clip now that I'm 56, feeling like a day used to feel. So, maybe I shoud ajust my food sycle to match. Less wear & tear on the dijestion. Less free radicalz corroding everything. Less time cooking. Less time sitting on the can. Less money spent on food & toilet paper.

I am also exersizing more.

Sins I havent wasted away to nothing, it meanz my metabolizm wuz working hard to dispoze uv exess caloryz befor and 15 - 20 poundz wuz fat and food being prosessed in my guts. I feel better all around. The spring haz returned to my step. I dont get hungry very often and wen I do, I just do sum squats or hoist the dumbellz and it goez away. I'm starting to see a hint uv abz! I realize now that I'd been slowly turning into a marshmellow all theze yirz.

So its like Saturday iz dinner, Sunday iz brekfast, Wenzday iz lunch. Monday & Toozday are the morning. Thurzday & Friday are the afternoon. The shakes and drinks & chocolate are just snaks to tide me over.

A big side benefit iz that I appreciate wut I'm eating more. It tastes better and its sumthing to look forward to rather than just wut I'm cramming into my gob wile gazing at the TV.

I'm thinking this iz more in tune with wut evolution adapted us to. That its normal for us to not hav food every day, and our modern lifestyle uv gobbling calory rich food 3 timez a day frum cradle to grave iz wuts cauzing alot uv the obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular trouble.

I like REAL food too much, but my teeth are going to be falling out soon so my body is going to make things right.

I basically spend over an hour a day brushing and flossing and gargling now. My rear right top molar and my front bottom tooth are wobbly and will give me great pain unless I spend at least an hour a day on dental hygene now.

I've always had a beautiful smile since 6th grade when my braces came off, but a hereditary inability to process certain enzymes in my saliva has welcomed this bacteria beneath my gums and since i let it grow for over 15 years before paying for a dentist out of pocket I found that even though I've never had a single cavity in my life, 80% of my jawbone mass surrounding the teeth is gone and many of them are only still there because of the ligaments surrounding them.

At the moment, there is no pain. My teeth are somewhat yellowed from smoking and coffee, but otherwise look nice. The gums are very receeded though for a pre-40 year old.

At this point, try to eat healthy and make it a super-daily-chore to halt the progression.

When I get a good job again I'm not going to fight that upward battle. I already have scans of what my mouth looked like when it was perfect. I'm going to pull every single tooth and just get dentures to match.

My current gum doctor seems to think I'm so vain that I'm going to give him enough money every year for the rest of my life to fund his vacations.



I suppose in the mean time, a more liquid diet would be easier on the teeth I have left that aren't wobbling.
