TRY to rationalize THIS ONE off repubs. The guy is woefully out of touch and has no business leading ANYTHING, much less a healthcare reconfiguration.
This isn't about being slightly confused, this is "can't find your ass with both hands and a tour guide" lost.

He says:
"Insurance is, you're 20 years old, you just graduated from college, and you start paying $15 a month for the rest of your life and by the time you're 70, and you really need it, you're still paying the same amount and that's really insurance"

An average 21-year-old making $25,000 a year would be charged $282 per month for a silver Obamacare plan, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation. However, that person would qualify for federal subsidies that would cut the amount they would personally pay by half to $142. That person could also be responsible for a four-figure deductible, which is the amount each consumer must pay out-of-pocket before coverage kicks in.

No they can't. You're constantly re-evaluated over the course of your life. My old man has had the same life insurance policy since very early in his life and he says that after this last increase in premiums (and decrease in policy payout), he likely will be cancelling it the next time they re-evaluate him in 5 or so years.

But, who knows... Maybe these so called pundits are government employees who have access to amazing life insurance plans that never increase their premiums as just another bonus perk off the backs of actual working Americans? lol... maybe that perk even extends to their kids and they're going to be paying $15/mo. for the rest of their life for the million dollar policy they took out when they were babies.

I wasn't trying to. I was just pointing out how stupid the media constantly makes itself look to people with half a brain who actually know a thing or two about things and don't just agree with them based off of emotions.

Again, I wasn't there, so with no context it is a ludicrous thing for Trump to say. If either way the article paints it was actually what he meant to tell his intended audience and they bought it, they're just as stupid as the people who wrote the article or the reactionary people who read the article and agreed 100% with it.

Well.... yeah. Garbage people running the show with all the money. No disagreements there. Grass always being greener though, there's no place I'd personally rather live right now until we learn how to get off this rock.

You might not agree with that, but at least there's no denying that we could have done much worse in the birth lottery when it comes to places we're stuck living in.

Oh, and banning whole countries from visiting here when they have nothing to do with the ACTUAL terrorist problem. I swear they gave Trump a map and said "So which countries look shifty to white people?"

We HAVE intelligence people. I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

WISH, I think most of us here agree on the "socially liberal" approach. I don't think anyone here is advocating discrimination against gays or lesbians or transgenders or blacks or women or whites or old people.

I think we're all pretty much past that.

But hasn't anyone noticed the economic predation that's been going on? We all need the same thing ... secure jobs that we can live on. If jobs weren't in such short supply, we wouldn't be fighting over them that hard. But focusing on one groups' right versus another groups' rights ... well, we're just being pitted against each other.
