Mom: "Why?"
Me: "I think someone shot the President."
She was a lifelong Republican. She turned on the TV, & as she turned
back to me, she said, "Who would do a terrible thing like that?"
She was crying.

Otoh, my Aunt Alice had read a book or two about the Kennedys,
and she hated all of 'em.

Might be a good time to rewatch JFK. There was more than what was in that film, but a lot was included.

And who knows the answers to these:
Who was the last Democrat Kennedy defeated? In the 1960 Primaries, allegedly rigged?
Who was the last opponent defeated? In the General Election of 1960, allegedly rigged?
Who was the only member of the House of Representatives on the Warren Commission (formed to whitewash and cover up the incident, erase the evidence)? And reportedly, also the mole/informant for Hoover?
Now, in completely unrelated history, who were the next 3 Presidents to follow JFK? And who is the only President to never win a national or Statewide Election? The only President to be selected, without Election?

Have you ever visited a JFK section at a library, back when libraries had books? IIRC a University Library had a whole room just for the subject.
If there were only 2,800 Books on the subject, I would be surprised.

Some rando could go in their garage and blow their own brains out right now and there would be maybe a total of 5 documents written up including the hazmat cleanup, the coroner's report and the death certificate.

I realize we're talking about a President, but why so many documents?

It takes a lot of paperwork to create science which can reverse the direction of a bullet in mid-air. In current day, imagine the paperwork generated to support and discuss the algore invention of Global Warming. Include the equivalent paperwork if algore had not invented the Internet.

Part of the problems involved with the cover-up was that, after the destruction of evidence not fitting the narrative, later revelations exposing the truth in opposition to the whitewash story. Such as The Zapruder Film, discovered 5-6 years later, and not thoroughly considered until another 7 years after discovery.

The Warren Commission. Congress is in the habit of generating mountains of paperwork.

The Select Committee on Assassinations. Another mountain from Congress.
