I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Quote:Originally posted by 6IXSTRINGJACK: I was going to bring this story up along with quite a few other recent missteps by the Democratic party, but since you've already posted about it, I'll put them all here... 1. Stormy Daniels' case dismissed and Federal judge orders that she pay Trump's legal fees if he desires. This means that the nearly $600,000 that Lefties pledged to her on Facebook might end up going directly to Trump. I think he should take it, then he should make a huge show of donating it to some #MeToo charity or something. This probably doesn't bode well for creepy porn lawyer's bid for the Democratic ticket in 2020 either. 2. After one year of #MeToo, including and essentially ending with the Kavanaugh joke, it has backfired. After a Year of #MeToo, American Opinion Has Shifted Against Victims https://www.economist.com/graphic-detail/2018/10/15/after-a-year-of-metoo-american-opinion-has-shifted-against-victims You'll notice from the graphs that opinions in all demographics including Hillary Clinton voters has shifted. 3. Warren's constant claims of Native American ancestry ends in a DNA test that proves nothing and has the Cherokee Nation virtually disowning her. It turns out that this is hardly new behavior by Warren as she used this supposed lineage to get into college by claiming she was a POC decades ago. 4. Senator Claire McCaskill aids and the senator herself caught saying some very foolish things on video about how they manipulate their voters and lie to them since she is in a red state, likely ending her career. This is one of the 6 toss up Senate seats that Democrats would have to take in order to regain a majority, also likely ending the Blue Wave. 5. Taylor Swift (stupidly) breaks her political silence to come out in support of a particular statewide issue in favor of the Democrat. Which immediately results in a NYT poll showing the republican jumping to 14 points, when the average was around 6pts before that, and the latest FOX poll only showing a 5pt lead. My personal favorite post on this story: Quote:I think it's funny that a woman from Pennsylvania is trying to tell Tennesseans to vote for a guy from New Jersey. More to come, I'm sure... Do Right, Be Right. :)

Quote: Democrats Told To Spend "As Little Time As Possible" Campaigning On Open-Border Immigration Democratic candidates running for re-election in the 2018 midterms are being advised to spend "as little time as possible" discussing open-border immigration policies unpopular with swing voters. In a four-page memo from John Podesta's Center for American Progress and centrist think tank Third Way, strategists acknowledge that Republican attacks on sanctuary cities "pack a punch," however they advise that Democrats instead focus on health care and taxation, according to the New York Times. “Sanctuary attacks pack a punch,” says a four-page memorandum, prepared by the liberal Center for American Progress and the centrist think tank Third Way, that has been shared at about a dozen briefings for Democrats in recent weeks. [BUT] they should spend “as little time as possible” talking about immigration itself, and instead pivot to more fruitful issues for Democrats like health care and taxation. -NYT "It is very difficult to win on immigration with vulnerable voters in the states Trump carried in 2016," reads the memo, which adds that "even the most draconian of Republican policies" such as separating migrant families has had little impact on swing voters. And as Breitbart's John Binder notes, "Democrats have geared up for the 2018 midterm elections by running on a platform that would abolish the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency, which would end all immigration enforcement across the United States. Three in four swing voters oppose the Democrats’ “abolish ICE” initiative." Binder adds that Trump's immigration plan has "sweeping support among not only Republican voters, but swing voters and black Americans."
