It is McConnell's fault. And McCarthy's. And Graham's. They sabotaged the election through purposeful mismanagement of campaign funds and talking about putting out an unconstitutional federal ban on abortions they knew they'd never even be able to do in the weeks leading up to the election.

Trump's candidates were and are solid. Even 2 years of not being President he's still draining the swamp of Neo-Con trash. 93% of his endorsements won in the Primary. 80% of his endorsements won in the General.

You're only focusing on the largest candidates because that's all the Media is focusing on. Those candidates didn't lose because of Trump or because they were bad candidates. They lost because the current GOP leadership is doing whatever is in their power to maintain their dying grasp on the party. They would rather see Nancy Pelosi in power for two more years and preside over the minority than relinquish control of their own party or do what is best for the country.

And, quite a few of the big candidates Trump backed won as well. Just not enough of them. But they sure as shit will if he runs again in 2024 and people are going out to vote for him specifically.

Republicans are up nearly 5 Million votes in the popular vote this mid-term, which is a thing that never happens. Just wait until the big election.
