This is one of the better videos I've seen in 2025.

Even Ted and Second should watch it. There's a lot she says that I don't agree with too. For example, Shoe is all on board with Mandami's offers of free bus rides and rent control and all of the fiscally liberal policies. But that being said, she knows that we can't even start doing things like this seriously unless we lock our borders down and keep other people who don't belong here from benefiting from it or it will never be able to be funded.

She takes plenty of shots at Trump and Co. here, but she's smart enough to do it without an all-or-nothing outright attack like most of the left in the media do.

People just want hope for a better future. It's been 24 years straight of negative trajectory for America and Americans and people are just fucking sick of all of it.

Yeah. She's great.

Though we don't agree on everything for sure, she's one of the most reasonable people out there saying any of this stuff because she's always cutting through the bullshit on both sides.

Half of the insults thrown at her are calling her a Communist, and the other half she gets call her a NeoCon.

To a lot of people in this country, it doesn't matter if they agree with 70%-90% of what she said... they'll hear the 10% they strongly don't agree with and automatically label her as an extremist for the other side.

And on the plus side, she's actually genuinely funny.

Well, I am here now. Huh.

I admit that I can agree with some of the stuff she said. Can't give you a number. My thing has always been when people are PO'd at one party then they hop to the other. Maybe a third party somewhere in the middle?

She wandered all over the place on that one. Lots of contradictions.
I don't think she will ever be able to self-reflect while she stays in NYC - or wake up, either. She has no real world context to compare to.
If she moved to the real world, I would want to tune in.

I'm not sure. I create YT videos myself, but I've only got about 2 dozen subscribers and little interaction. You have to hit some threshold of subs before they YT will do things like monitizing ads on your channel, or doing deeper dives into your channel's statistics.

If I posted one of my videos here and you guys watched it, I would have no way of knowing that you watched it. At least through my current YT analytics available to me, although obviously it could be done in other ways like when I got most of the IP addresses here. But that only worked because I was actively fishing here, and I could pretty easily line up who's IP address was whose based off of how quickly people replied to the post(s) after I got a hit on the video being viewed as well as remembering shared dialog here over the years about what areas they live in. At YT, the only thing that I'd see is my view count going up, and that the view was initiated from a 3rd party site and wasn't somebody who was on YT already when they started the video. I believe that I can also see if the person was redirected from a site like this or from a search engine result.

TL;DR - Shoe has a lot more analytics at her disposal for her channel than I do, but I don't know if that includes knowing exactly which websites have embedded your videos and how many watches they're getting with those embeds.
