Yes, very similar to Occupy, thanks. Occupy has a number of wealthy supports among the wealthy. Businessmen like George Soros, celebrities, politicians, Union leaders.

I think where you are getting confused is when I say the Occupy movement is like the facists and Nazis in particular you think Nazi Germany, WW2, German industry, government, camps, etc.

You think, we're nothing like that, we're the ones being beaten by cops and stuff. You need to read further back. Hitler and his Nazi buddies were being beaten by cops and thrown in jail in the 1920's. They started as unions and community organizers. They used that power to go after industry and economic power. They got rich through intimidation of business people often simply taking their property...especially Jews.

The Occupy movement is not the Nazi party of 1939...they are more like 1923. You can't tell me there isn't a core of folks that seek confrontation, that they don't want to get put in jail, that they are not just itching to write a book or a blog detailing 'Their Struggle'...

A point, but any movement can be subverted from within. It's also not impossible that a socialist can be rich (George Soros?). So, ideologically, if they are currently socialist, they would not follow the path the Nazis took to Fascism without a Hitler of their own.

There may well be a Hitler among them, but from the information we have you could not argue that they are currently Fascist.

Based on the information, you can, however, say that they are socialist, and that you have concerns how they will evolve, or that some authhoritarian might be using them, because I would say the same things.

Yeah, I got about as far as Story, then saw the "Hero...Byte...Hero...Byte" and realized it would go nowhere, so I gave up. I hope you enjoyed yourself, Byte, because that is ALL that will ever result from trying to communicate with hard-liners like Hero/Rap/etc.

Hero actually sounds exactly like Raptor, from what I've read of his posts. The DAY either of them or their ilk is capable of giving on any point, any point at all, is the day they might be worth trying to communicate with.

The only thing I noticed that I'd remark on is that OWS has been demonstrating on/occupying PUBLIC spaces, isn't that true? The crack about moving someone into someone else's PRIVATE PROPERTY is nonsensical. Beyond that: enjoy.

Yes, yes, we are well aware that the scumbag lawyer in the room is capable of cherry-picking details to misrepresent the truth. Doesn't mean we're dumb enough to buy into your bullshit.

Technically it's possible to trespass on public lands, which is why I addressed that point.

Not that, his saying would you think it okay if he brought someone into your house, etc., etc.

Just clarifying; the subject isn't worth more attention than that to me.

Your complete inability to make a substantive argument would be staggering if not typical of the left.

I saw some effort today, but at some point your side always ends up arguing form when you can't argue substance.

Perhaps you'd like to use some bad language...

That would be more like your buddies Rappy and Geezer.

Would that make me a "facist" if I made fun of your face? :D

To put it another way you've conceded the intellectual argument. Thanks.

Not really, since I haven't been arguing with an intellectual. Pointing out that you have no idea how to even spell fascism, much less what it is, doesn't concede the intellectual point. What it does, in fact, is point out that you HAVE no intellectual point. You're merely parroting what you've been told to say by your right-wing masters, because it's all you've got.

Hitler was very much a friend of business, of corporations, a big believer in "family values" and traditional gender roles (German soldiers were horrified by the idea of the Russians using women as snipers, for instance, not because they were so effective, but because THEY WERE WOMEN SHOOTING AT MEN!), a hater of Communism, a hater of intellectualism and the arts, a rabid militarist and a strong believer that every great thing any human could accomplish must be done through force and might. In short, he was exactly what the Republican party espouses as its virtues and values in this day and age.

You've got to stick around because you're going to have a farm near my group home that I will own and we'll get lots of good nutricious food from you and it will be a good thing for everyone and they'll all like you.
