No. I'm not going to count Beetlejuice x2 as horror, so none in the top 13.

Was Alien: Romulus "horror"????? If you consider that horror, that's in 18th place.

Otherwise, if you consider A Quiet Place 3 horror and not sci-fi we're already down to 24th.

Ghostbusters 5 doesn't count at 28th place.

Smile 2 would be my first pick for an actual horror movie, and that's in 40th place on the Worldwide Top 100 this year.

Last year, the first true horror flick on the list was 25th place with Five Nights and Freddy's. The Nun II was 28th. Insidious was 43rd.

Come to think of it, maybe it wasn't as bad as I thought compared to last year. I was thinking of the list I made that showed actual profit vs. the production budget, and of course the low budget horror movies that did well last year were topping that list. But when put against the high budget movies they come in very far down the worldwide list, being topped by a lot of high-budget trash that failed.

And on that note... I do believe that this time is very, very, very different than last time Trump was President.

Most folk are only just beginning to notice that pendulum swinging the other way, but that started a few years back. You and I have been watching that pretty closely in the Cinema, Jaynez. I know you actually watch a lot of the stuff, but you know that I don't. It goes completely over Second's head why I spend so much time tracking it.

But instead of feeling the positivity I thought I would when Trump won (almost exactly by how much I said he would), I'm not feeling anything close to whatever manufactured Sunshine and Joy they were getting Ted and Second all drugged up on going into last election.

This pendulum is already forcefully coming back down and swinging to the Right. Nobody noticed it until now because it went so fucking high up the Left side of the clock it almost broke the damn thing. It's still up on that left side, but it's finally visible again and it's coming down fast.

... and things can get pretty fucking scary when that pendulum doesn't start slowing down once it hits the middle and goes way further right than it should.

My prediction for the next 4 years?

If Second and Ted can keep themselves from losing their minds and focus on real issues and problems instead of whatever slop their dumb-shit propaganda media tells them to think, I'm pretty sure I'm going to have more things I agree with them on than I have in our entire history here, and it ain't even going to be a contest.

I don't want this to be mistaken for having any regrets. There are none. Trump in office is unequivocally better than Harris for every one of us as individuals, whether we believe that or not.

But now is the time to do the thing that Second and Ted have never once done for their own party and that's to be a watchdog on them.

Shit is getting really bad these days. We need somebody who is going to fix things. And if the only guy who said he was even going to try fails, or even worse... fails to try... what do we do about it?

Would have loved an Aliens series 30 years ago.

What? They didn't learn that it was already too late to milk that franchise by the time they put out the shitty AvP movies everybody would have been thrilled about had they been released 10 years earlier (and if they were good).

Hey... I hope it's great. Aliens fans deserve a win.

I have no interest in it one way or another. This is just another franchise they killed off to me.
