We "just" went into Afghanistan to nab bin Laden, remember?

We "just" went into Iraq to depose Saddam, remember? "Mission accomplished"?

Then they turned into multi-decade shit shows of pretend "nation building" (scam) and created huge resistance movements - the Taliban and ISIS, remember? Also, a global source of heroin.

Aside from blowing the budget, GWB used the whole "global war on terror“ to shred both our Constitution and international law.

Shit like this rarely turns out well.

Shit like this rarely turns out well. For sure.

But nobody has been able to explain any of the conflicts we've been in for my entire adult life, and even if they claim to know what we were doing and why we were involved I wouldn't believe them anyway.

This one rates about a 1/10 on my concern level. Whatever is happening here matters only 1/1000th as much as what Trump needs to do in our own borders over the next 3 years.

The only people I really see complaining about this are America-hating Socialists, so-called "experts" that Second posts everyday and college "educated" retards, so I'm just fine with it.

6ix, there are at least five more countries you can be right about: "Mexico Is Gone", "Colombia Is Gone", "Cuba Is Gone", "Canada Is Gone", "Greenland Is Gone". What’s to stop Trump?

Trump, who accused Maduro of running a "narco-state," said the raid wasn't meant to be a warning to Mexico, but said "something's going to have to be done" about the country's cartel.

“We’re very friendly with her, she’s a good woman,” Trump said of Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo while calling into FOX & Friends on Saturday. “But the cartels are running Mexico — she’s not running Mexico.” Sheinbaum said Mexico "strongly condemns and rejects" the United States' raid of Venezuela . . .

Trump could install a new President of Mexico, someone strong enough in Trump’s mind to control the cartels. I know the perfect candidate is Donald J Trump! He can do anything he wants. He is God.

There's no bright line between what Trump does outside of our borders and what happens inside.

If nothing else, he's spending a fuckton of money THAT WE DONT HAVE on the military, making us more dependent on foreign nations buying our Treasuries (federal debt) to keep our government running.

So,if Trump locks China out of Venezuela, as his national security strategy suggests, China will depend even more on Russian oil, and could respond by refusing to kin essence) loan us money, or lock us out of critical rare earths (again).

And that's assuming that we've paid off enough of the Venezuelan elite to keep them happy, and don't wind up contending with yet another forever war (insurgency).

You don't remember that Trump built his political appeal over the past decade partly by vowing to extricate America from military quagmires overseas, promising to avoid “nation building” and wars designed to topple regimes. But the new Trump foreign policy doctrine emphasizes threats of regime change. After ordering the capture of Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro, Trump put other foreign leaders on notice.

Trump expanding his company into the oil industry would not be out of character. On December 18, 2025, Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) announced a $6 billion merger with TAE Technologies, a private nuclear fusion firm. This move aims to position TMTG as a leader in clean energy for AI data centers.

Trump Admits the Real Reason for His Surprise Attack on Venezuela

Just hours after President Donald Trump bombed Venezuela and abducted its leader, Nicolás Maduro, he began talking about the Latin American country’s oil industry.

Venezuela has the largest proven oil reserves on the planet, with 303 billion barrels worth of crude, or about a fifth of global reserves, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. And that fact has clearly been at the top of Trump’s mind.

Appearing in a Fox News interview Saturday morning, Trump was asked what he sees for the “future of Venezuela’s oil industry.”

“Well, I see that we’re going to be very strongly involved in it, that’s all. I mean, what can I say? We have the greatest oil companies in the world, the biggest, the greatest, and we’re going to be very much involved in it.”

This wasn’t the first time that Trump has admitted his war with Venezuela is at least partly motivated by oil. Earlier last month, the U.S. military seized two Venezuelan oil tankers. Asked what would happen to the oil, Trump replied, “we’re going to keep it,” then added: “Maybe we will sell it, maybe we will keep it. Maybe we’ll use it in the Strategic Reserves. We’re keeping the ships also.”

The post drew criticism from Jesper Møller Sørensen, Denmark’s ambassador to the United States.

Greenland is Denmark’s, in case you don’t know. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen held a tense conversation with Trump, during which she stressed that “Greenland is not for sale.” Who's talking about paying? Trump will simply take Greenland.

On December 20, the Wall Street Journal reported:

[Chevron CEO Mike] Wirth and Trump are known to be tight. The oil executive is an eloquent speaker whose TV appearances entertain the president, and the men chat about Venezuela and other topics.

Wirth was among the first to embrace “the Gulf of America,” Trump’s new moniker for the Gulf of Mexico. His company, which has donated to inaugural committees of both parties, gave $2 million to Trump’s, twice as much as Exxon Mobil and Occidental Petroleum.

Trump and Wirth appear to agree that opportunity abounds in Venezuela.

“It will only get bigger,” Trump said on Truth Social of the U.S. naval armada parked in the Caribbean, “until such time as they return to the United States of America all of the oil, land, and other assets that they have previously stole from us.”

The U.S. government paid $970 billion in net interest on the national debt for the full fiscal year (FY) 2025. Who received that $970 billion? People like me, not people you.

Who owns the debt? People like me, who have to park their excess money somewhere.

How did such people get all the excess money that needs a parking place? By dear Donald's tax cuts directed specifically toward them:
Jan 10, 2024 — President Trump added over $8 trillion to the national debt. https://www.crfb.org/blogs/how-much-did-president-trump-add-debt
July 4, 2025 — Trump's "big beautiful" tax-and-spending bill is forecast to increase federal deficits by at least $3.4 trillion.

Just saying, 6ixStringJoker, you don't understand anything about the National Debt.

When the National Debt starts decreasing, not likely to happen, that will be proof that the wealthy are finally (finally!) paying their fair share for the first time in decades. What will they use to pay their taxes? The Treasury bonds, once sold back to the federal government, will pay the rich people's taxes. Obviously.

The Rise of the Banana Republicans

The ‘Donroe Doctrine’ is the first time we’re getting honesty from Trump- but only in revealing our worst intentions

By Mike Madrid | Jan 04, 2026

https://greattransformation.substack.com/p/the-rise-of-the-banana-repu
blicans

Not since the days of gunboat diplomacy has an American president so baldly asserted the right to overthrow a foreign government, occupy its territory, and seize its resources. Trump went further, rebranding the Monroe Doctrine as the “Donroe Doctrine” — a piece of nominative vanity that would be comical if it weren’t so revealing. “American dominance in the Western Hemisphere,” he announced, “will never be questioned again.”

The original Monroe Doctrine, proclaimed in 1823, was born from weakness masquerading as strength. President James Monroe declared the Western Hemisphere off-limits to European colonization at a moment when the United States possessed neither the naval power nor the military capacity to enforce such a pronouncement. It was aspirational theater — a young republic drawing a line in the sand it couldn’t actually defend, hoping European powers would respect American claims to a sphere of influence that existed more on paper than in practice.

Yet there was something genuinely aspirational in Monroe’s vision. However self-interested, it gestured toward a hemisphere of independent republics, freed from the dynastic squabbles of European monarchies. The doctrine imagined a New World defined by self-determination, even if that self-determination was to be supervised by Washington. It was imperialism, certainly, but imperialism that at least paid lip service to republican ideals.

The Donroe Doctrine dispenses with such pretense. This isn’t about protecting Latin American nations from foreign interference. Trump made the game explicit: Venezuela possesses the world’s largest proven oil reserves, and American companies will now “fix” its “badly broken” oil infrastructure. Translation: we’re taking the oil. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, standing beside Trump, made clear that Cuba and Nicaragua should consider themselves next on the list. “Their days are also counted,” declared Rep. Mario Díaz-Balart.

The Real Donroe Doctrine

Seeking cash and an ego boost, not regime change

By Paul Krugman | Jan 05, 2026

https://paulkrugman.substack.com/p/the-real-donroe-doctrine

For Americans of a certain age, the snatch and grab abduction of Nicolás Maduro, Venezuela’s president, brings back memories of the 2003 invasion of Iraq, in some ways with good reason.

Almost everyone now sees Iraq as a cautionary tale about the lies of the powerful: We were taken to war on false pretenses. Almost everyone also thinks of Iraq as a prime example of the power of delusional thinking on the part of the powerful themselves. Slogans of the time — “We will be welcomed as liberators”; “Mission Accomplished” — are now routinely used ironically, to denote foolish projects doomed to catastrophic failure. And Donald Trump’s Venezuela adventure is another tale of lies and delusion.

But in other ways the Trump/Venezuela story is very different from the Bush/Iraq story.

Two days after the abduction, it’s clear that Trump wasn’t seeking regime change, at least not in any fundamental way. He’s more like a mob boss trying to expand his territory, believing that if he knocks off a rival boss he can bully the guy’s former capos into giving him a cut of their take.

If that sounds harsh, bear in mind that before Trump stepped in, Maduro and his fellow Chavistas — the movement founded by Hugo Chavez — faced strong opposition from domestic pro-democracy forces led by María Corina Machado. Edmundo González, a Machado ally, clearly won Venezuela’s 2024 election, only to have Maduro steal it. So, if Trump wanted regime change he would be supporting Machado and her movement.

But in his triumphal Saturday press conference, Trump sneeringly dismissed Machado, declaring that “it’d be very tough for her to be the leader, she doesn’t have the support. She doesn’t have the respect.”

Instead, he appeared eager to support Maduro’s second-in-command, Delcy Rodriguez, implying that she was ready to cooperate with his designs. Indeed, during the press conference and afterward Trump repeatedly declared that he was already “running” Venezuela.

But it took only a few hours for Rodriguez to make him look like a fool: Later that day she and other leading members of the Maduro government denounced U.S. actions and declared on TV that Maduro is still president of Venezuela.

Oops. By Sunday Trump was threatening to punish Rodriguez for her defiance.

How did Trump make such a big miscalculation? Trump has surrounded himself with sycophants like Pete Hegseth, who has repeatedly described him as “the greatest president of my lifetime.” He lives in a self-aggrandizing fantasy world — a world in which he has a 64 percent approval rating and is a contender for the Nobel Peace Prize.

The Washington Post reports that Trump turned on Machado because she committed the “ultimate sin” of accepting her genuine Nobel prize.

Anyway, the core of Trump’s fantasy involves imagining that he really is the character he played on The Apprentice, a master of the Art of the Deal.

Given Trump’s belief that he can always out-deal, out-bully and out-cheat everyone else, it’s easy to see how he interpreted some conciliatory conversations with Rodriguez as a signal that she would be his obedient puppet.

Trump’s self-image as the ultimate dealmaker explains why he was so ready to believe, falsely, that he controlled Venezuela. It also explains his insistence that by, as he imagined, seizing Venezuela, he had gained a valuable prize in the form of its oil. “We’re going to be taking out a tremendous amount of wealth out of the ground.” Many Trump critics share his view that there’s a lot of money to be made from Venezuelan oil and condemn his intervention as an attempt to steal that money.

But you know who doesn’t think there’s a lot of money to be made in Venezuela? Oil companies. They see a dilapidated infrastructure that would cost billions to repair. They don’t see a stable political environment above ground. And while Venezuela has large oil reserves, much of its oil is “extra heavy, making it polluting and expensive to process.”

So, why did Trump have Maduro abducted? There were surely multiple motivations. Fantasies of dominance and control and dreams of oil-soaked riches played their part. So did ego. The snatch gave Trump an opportunity to strut, and assuage his Obama envy: Trump’s minions set up a “war room” at Mar-a-Lago that looks as if it was designed to let him emulate the famous photo of Obama and his officials tracking the killing of Osama bin Laden.

Obama’s team did not, however, have X/Twitter on the screen behind them.

Trump also surely hoped that abducting Maduro would help him politically. The abduction pushed the Epstein files out of the headlines for a few days. And Trump is definitely trying to wag the dog, seeking a boost in popularity as the nation rallies around the flag. However, he’s almost certain to be disappointed. Before the abduction, Americans overwhelmingly opposed military action in Venezuela. Early polling since the abduction remains highly unfavorable:

Note that three times as many independents strongly oppose the U.S. running Venezuela as strongly support it. And these numbers will get worse as the public realizes how little was achieved.

In any case, it’s important to understand that the confrontation with Venezuela has nothing to do with the national interest. It’s all about Trump’s self-aggrandizing delusions. And it will accomplish nothing except to make America look even less trustworthy and weaker than it did before.

Trump’s “Don Roe Doctrine” Turns Canada Into His Worst Nightmare | Jimmy Kimmel

Jan 4, 2026

Hello to all the loyal viewers and die-hard fans of Jimmy Kimmel — the people who can watch five minutes of Trump talking about foreign policy and instantly tell the difference between a real doctrine and a drunk guy doodling on a placemat at Mar-a-Lago. I hope you’re somewhere comfortable right now, maybe half-sliding off the couch with your phone in one hand and a snack you definitely didn’t intend to eat this late in the other, because tonight we’re going to talk about something that sounds like a bad joke, feels like a comic-book supervillain plan, and is actually being treated like a real threat by an entire country: Donald Trump’s so-called “Don Roe Doctrine” and how it just turned the Canadian people into some of the most determined Trump-resisters on the planet.

If you somehow missed it, here’s the quick horror recap. After Trump’s unlawful invasion of Venezuela — you know, that little “kinetic action” he announced like he was plugging a hotel opening — he walked into a press conference and bragged that he’d basically upgraded the Monroe Doctrine. Remember that old 19th-century policy that said the Western Hemisphere was kind of our neighborhood and European empires should back off? Trump stands there, sweaty and proud, and declares that under his “new national security strategy,” American dominance in the Western Hemisphere “will never be questioned again,” and that they now call it the “Don Roe Doctrine.” He even stumbles over the name like he’s not sure if he’s saying “Monroe,” “Don Roe,” or “Don’t Know,” which is honestly the most accurate version.

Trump Has Once Again Made Fools Out of His “Populist” Supporters (That happened to 6ixStringJoker, and it is driving Joker to insanity)

Trump’s new GOP looks a lot like the old GOP, especially after his invasion of Venezuela.

By Zachary D. Carter | Jan 05, 2026 5:40 AM

https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2026/01/venezuela-trump-maduro-bus
h-biden-maga-republicans-democrats.html

There was a time not long ago when people would claim with a straight face that Donald Trump was a populist who prioritized the interests of working-class Americans and avoided stupid foreign wars. “Trump’s Best Foreign Policy? Not Starting Any Wars,” then-Senator J.D. Vance crowed in 2023. As Trump assembled his second-term national security team in 2024, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) claimed to be “amazed by the Trump cabinet” and the president’s rejection of “warmongers.” A mere two months ago, one of those cabinet officials, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, told a conference in Bahrain that Trump had ended the “counterproductive and endless cycle of regime change or nation-building” that has defined American foreign policy for decades.

Trump’s brazenly illegal military assault on Caracas last week would embarrass these people, were they capable of embarrassment. Trump did not govern as a populist during his first term; his second term has been an unabashed celebration of crass imperialism and the super-rich.

And the super-rich are thrilled. Hedge fund billionaire Bill Ackman croons that Trump’s war in Venezuela “will lower oil prices, which is good for America.” The Jeff Bezos editorial board hailed the Trump invasion as a happy confluence of “justice” and technical prowess. Elon Musk is patching things up with Trump, proclaiming the war “a win for the world and a clear message to evil dictators everywhere.” Nor are Republicans the only enthusiasts. Democratic Party fundraiser Charles Myers is organizing a post-Maduro field trip to Venezuela with about 20 hedge funders and asset managers to scout investment opportunities in “oil and gas,” “construction,” and “tourism.”

The story of American capital profiteering on American war is as old as America itself, and Trump openly claims to have invaded Venezuela for its oil. But in this particular case the Wall Street opportunists have their work cut out for them. On Saturday, Politico reported that Trump offered U.S. oil executives “reimbursement” for oil assets that were nationalized by the Venezuelan government decades ago—but only on the condition that they actually take control of Venezuela’s oil fields. Ten days after making the offer, Trump doesn’t have any takers. Venezuela’s oil infrastructure is outdated, and it will take tremendous investments to meaningfully expand production, something oil companies are reluctant to do when large profits are readily available from high prices and low corporate investment. We are thus presented with the bizarre spectacle of an American president waging an imperialist war on behalf of American executives who are reluctant to claim the spoils. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, meanwhile, is telling reporters that Cuba may be next in line for American-imposed regime change, as the wife of Trump’s racism czar Stephen Miller points to Greenland.

Embarrassing as these developments are for the right-wing populists who supported Trump in 2024, I have always harbored some sympathy for their political plight. Conservative populists are generally right about war (bad) and poverty (wrong), and they claim to recognize warmongering and elite favor-trading as unpleasant features of Republican politics. At the same time, I have maintained contempt for the belief that Donald Trump might deliver America from those evils. Trump’s first term was defined by a massive tax cut for the rich, a bank deregulation bill that delivered a rash of bank failures, the destruction of a standing diplomatic treaty with Iran, and sustained, vocal support for the violent and corrupt governments of Israel and Saudi Arabia. All of these agenda items could have been implemented by a President Mitt Romney, had an election or two gone a little differently. The populist fantasy this time around was that Vance and a few other Trump insiders who had built careers on populist branding might persuade Trump to turn away from the Republican old guard.

A year into his second term, Trump has once again cut taxes for the rich, in addition to doubling health insurance premiums for 20 million families, and declaring the national affordability crisis a “hoax.” His invasion of Venezuela suggests not only a return to the lunatic adventurism of George W. Bush in Iraq, but to various coups attempted and consummated by Presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and George H.W. Bush.

So Trump’s populist pitch to voters once again turned out to be a fraud. But the populist energy that fueled his reelection isn’t going away, even if the air is coming out of the Epstein jet’s tires. Trump was propelled into office by the two defining events of the 21st century: Bush the Younger’s disaster in Iraq and the financial crisis of 2008, both of which provided the country with ample evidence of elite incompetence and self-dealing. But the Democratic Party’s leadership has remained too entwined with the same interests and ideologues to establish itself as an enduring alternative to the elite predation that has been so obvious under Republican leadership. Barack Obama captured Osama bin Laden in Pakistan in 2011, but remained at war in Afghanistan for the remainder of his presidency. Joe Biden followed through on Trump’s first-term Middle East program all the way to a genocide in Gaza, and one of Biden’s last actions in office was to offer a $25 million reward for information leading to Maduro’s “arrest”—the same word the Trump administration uses to describe its operation in Venezeula.

Trump’s presidency is in trouble. Every Epstein file dump reveals his long friendship with the sex-trafficker to be worse than we knew, and he is still illegally withholding tens of thousands of Epstein files from public scrutiny—not the action of a man comfortable with the contents. Prices remain high, unemployment is rising, and the economy has been stuck in a hiring freeze for just about the entirety of Trump’s presidency. Democratic Party leadership clearly hopes it can ride all of this ineptitude to victory in 2026 and 2028 without promising much more than a return to normalcy. And Trump’s failures mean that they will, indeed, have the wind at their backs. But Democrats have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory before. The safe bet is to break with the corrupt and violent tradition Trump so unmistakably embodies.

No, they aren't, ya doink.

At least, not in Venezuela, according to a reporter IN VENEZUELA.

Shops were closed, people were talking, there were protests AGAINST the kidnapping.

The ones cheering are elite Venezuelans, mostly wealthy expats in the USA, who imagine getting their wealth back. According to the reporter, people weren't terribly fond of Maduro, but they dislike America even more and hate being treated like a colony, again.

You can count on the MSM to show you a biased picture, so NOW you believe it?
It's not being objective. It's not supporting Trump. It's supporting the forever-war Deep State, and giving Trump a pat on the head bc he"s behaving like GWB.

I thought this is what Trump ran against. Like I said, I'm beyond outrage and all the way into disgust. And the MAGA people who support this? Trump rampaging across the world like a demented dictator? I think they've Lost It.

So, what happens next?

I think unless we know WHY Maduro was abducted so easily... no air defenses were activated against slow, low-flying American helicopters ... it's guessing in the dark.

One scenario that nobody outlined, yet, is that the entire government... VP (now Acting President) Delcy Rodriguez, Scy Defense, Justice Ministry et al ... were paid off. A $50 million bounty would go a long way in a poor country like Venezuela!

That all of Trump's threats and Rodriguez's words of defiance are all theater. A show, to take over Venezuela without all the sturm und drang (storm and strife) that open seizure of government would involve, and that once the furor died down Rodriguez would start opening Venezuela's oil fields.

That would be the smart way.

Another smart thing for Trump to do would be to allow Venezuela to continue to sell oil to China, but simply to take a cut. Otherwise China will be driven even further into Russia's arms. In fact, if Venezuela increased its oil sales it would drive down oil prices (Russia and Venezuela are important sources of heavy crude required for diesel production) and further degrade Russia's oil revenue.

But altho some neocons are still hyperfocused on Russia, the Trump admin is focused on containing China, so I assume his admin will lock China out.

I had a great analysis post that disappeared into the ether. If I had managed to post it, I would have looked like a prophet, but I see that it's now been superseded by others', so I'll just recap it here.

There was virtually no active defense against our slow, low-flying helicopters. It seemed to me that, much like in Syria, the military brass was paid off and soldiers were told to stand down.

On top of that, the quick installment of VP Delcy Rodriguez as interim President, given the stamp of approval by Venezuelan Justice Dept, told me that they had been paid off too, and that all of Trump's threats and Delcy"s defiant words were just so much theater to ensure a smooth transition of power.

According to a reporter in Venezuela, Venezuelans IN Venezuela are, for the most part, not celebrating. Nor are they resisting. Shops are closed, but life is going on as it has been. Videos showing massive celebrations in Venezuela are AI generated. Here's one link https://www.cnbc.com/2026/01/06/ai-generated-deepfake-videos-venezuela
n-viral-us-military-maduro-misinformation.html
but you can now find this story everywhere. Once the furor dies down Delcy will be making deals with Anerican corporations.

Celebrators are expats, and they aren't destitute immigrants longing to go home. They're former bankers, corporate execs, landowners, businessmen, and their college-educated kids who were dispossessed and are hoping to restore their former elite status and wealth.

What happens to Venezuela depends entirely on what the Trump admin does. It will probably lift sanctions but ONLY when oil, gold, and mineral wealth is firmly under USA ownership. It doesn't matter whether these resources are being developed or not, bc IMHO the purpose of this coup is to lock China out.

My sense is that, like western Ukraine, expectations of a better life are keeping most people in a 'wait and see' mode. The current leadership should pay attention to Kissinger's wise words ...

They either have a reason to celebrate, or they're so blackpilled by life that they just expect that they're going to continue on being fucked like they always have been and it will be the same as it ever was.

Maybe you've got some AI celebrating from the same media sources that lie to us about everything, everyday. I've seen plenty of celebrating that isn't AI. And no... it's not just rich people. And no... it's not just in the US.

The best part for America is that we get to send 8 Million of them back home soon.

The best part for them is that they should have something to go back home to.

Like jobs. Like rebuilding the civilization that the US Democratic Party and the globalists DESTROYED.

I'm convinced enough in this one where I'm willing to make the prediction that everything we're doing in Venezuela right now is going to go down in the history books as a very, very good thing for both countries in the long term.

In the meantime, I don't want to hear a single fucking word out of Democrats. ESPECIALLY not any Democrat out on the street protesting for the release of Muduro.

FUCK AMERICAN DEMOCRATS.

Fucking idiots.

You want to send Maduro back? Fine. Here's your Venezuelan refugee family. They're living with you now, and all expenses for food, shelter, education and medical care are your own responsibility and no longer that of the US taxpayer.

There's only 8 Million of them, so I'm sure we can find every single one of them a nice Democrat voting home on the coasts for them to stay for free in perpetuity.

SIX, do you really think Trump is NOT behaving like a globalist???

Do you know what a non-globalist would do?

Stop randomly bombing spots across the globe.

Stop interfering in other nations' internal affairs ... i.e. no more "regime change" ops, no more CIA ops in Ukraine and elsewhere.

BREAK THE CIA'S OPERATIONS UNIT. Trim it to intelligence gathering ONLY.

Stop believing the CIA!

End sanctions on Venezuela NOW. (Also, end sanctions on Iran, Russia, and the dozens of other nations that we sanction).

Stop shipping arms to Israel and Taiwan. End our support of Ukraine.

Fully stop our "NGO"/ State Dept/ CIA meddling in Georgia, Armenia, the Caucasus, Taiwan, Hong Kong, etc etc.

Stop threatening Cuba, Mexico, Canada, Greenland.

Get out of Ukraine, 100%.

Get out of NATO.

Institute a LOGICAL and EFFECTIVE tariff policy instead of using tariffs as political tools.

Trump is doing what (some) globalists want him to do, and he's doing it at warp speed. He's still trying to control other nations, contain China, and break Russia (bc he stupidly believes the CIA).
