Does Levy arrest threaten Blair?

BBC News
12 July 2006

It is hard to think of any other event that could prove to be as damaging to Tony Blair as the arrest of his chief fundraiser Lord Levy.

Some believe Tony Blair may be the next person questioned

Indeed, in the wake of the arrest and release on bail of Lord Levy, the question dominating Westminster is whether the prime minister himself will now face police questioning.

Lord Levy - dubbed Lord Cashpoint because of his fundraising success - is not a minor party official, he is one of the prime minister's closest friends and tennis partner.

And he has not been arrested in some trivial investigation, but as part of the ongoing police inquiry into whether laws have been broken in the so-called "cash-for-peerages" row.

But Michael Abraham Levy, now 61, has never forgotten his working-class Jewish roots or lifelong commitment to the Labour Party.

Must be that Kol Nidre prayer. Get's em every time. Maybe his handsign for a "Mason in trouble" will convince the judge and jury to not chop his head off.

From the blog article I have linked below, entitled "Conspiracy theorists reveal psychological flaws"

It’s quite good fun coming up with theories about who REALLY runs the world, who’s just faked their death and is hiding on a desert island, and what’s been put in your food to control your thoughts. But if you take this stuff too seriously, you are probably borderline mentally unwell.

Seven, of course you know what this means. Expect a reply in which you are vilified, ridiculed and your ancestory questioned. ( Never mind the minor detail that you're 100% correct on this conspiracy nut case stuff )

And now I've made myself a target for reprisal as well.

Darn

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss
