Pisses me off that mainstream media ducks out of these and you have to go to foreign press or halfass sources like the Huff-n-Puff to get this kinda thing covered, at least they're willing to CALL it kidnapping now, as opposed to "transporting", which is what they used to - some of the older hellcamps would drag kids off and then coerce and bill parents after the fact, one of em was sued for that shit.

Hello,

I fear that I would not react well if such an action befell one of my children. My child, kidnapped and incarcerated in an institution? I think I would have trouble maintaining my polite composure. In fact, I'm quite sure of it. Assuming that I survived my breach of proper social etiquette, I would probably need legal representation on account of those who did not.

Oh if only, if only...

See, most of the time a hellcamp gets around to this they have the local CPS and Juvie Court in their pocket, you see - take a look at that investigative report there and you'll see how deep those hooks can be, just as with them two PA judges doin it for money, a lotta courts do it for religion, and so should you protest, particularly if you are of some "other" or "ungodly" religion in opposition you'll get short shrift and in fact the hellcamp will set the CPS people on YOU and attempt to sever custody, as well you yourself might wind up facing charges for neglect/abuse even if they have to manufacture them from whole cloth.

I am of the considered opinion that the shit that went down at El Dorado in regards to the FLDS kids had a lot of this kind of crap involved since it was essentially Baptists versus sorta-Mormons, and when some Methodists (the original mental health personnel) spoke up about the serious abuses on behalf of the Baptist CPS workers they were "thrown off the case" by the State, showing a collusion which was the eventual nail in the coffin for the case as a whole.
Although thankfully, Warren Jeffs and the rest of the bastards ACTUALLY responsible for exploitive misconduct got fried on charges the State chicanery couldn't poison since they pre-existed that mess.

Anyhows, way it'd go - they'd make off with your kid, and upon protest YOU would face investigation and charges for improper supervision, neglect, abuse, what have you, and be immediately put on the defensive and unable to respond effectively as the hellcamp staffers set CPS and the Juvie court barking at your heels, and that's if they're not the same personnel in fact - as some of the hellcamps staff in these things are court employees moonlighting a second job, or at least members of the same congregation, which makes it all the more convenient...

Now, depending on your locality, getting heavy legal representation (which'll often bankrupt you, thus putting you right back in the "unfit parent" category by way of financial insolvency) MIGHT put a stop to it if there's threat of enough public outrage or media attention to convince them to cut their losses - plenty more victims to be had, never fear...
Mind, I wouldn't make any bets on the ACLU though, in near thirty years and over three hundred cases they've not taken up even ONE, and in some of them went and turned right around and defended the fuckin aggressors, something for which you can imagine I hold a grudge.

But if you're say, out in the bloody boonies like Wakarusa Indiana and the local Church Congregation is all related to each other and has its hooks into the whole system from top to bottom, chances are they'll chuck your LAWYER in the clink too, and he might have an "accident" or something - small town bullshit, at it's finest.

Or you could hire mercs, which is prettymuch SOP these days and there's enough of em out there although they don't exactly advertise - or even DIY, cause again with kids having no rights, possession is 9/10ths the law, and it's damn hard to gainsay a parent with crowbar in one hand, kid in the other, standing over a stranger and demanding to press charges for kidnapping.
(In which case the hellcamp will let them swing rather than risk any liability, and scapegoat them completely, which is no more than they deserve since a lot of the camp stooges are former inmates who turned)

Believe me, it's not as SIMPLE as all that when the bastards have near total control of the local law enforcement, CPS and court systems.

That's one of the many *reasons* I do not trust in law and government, since it's only as good as the people running it, and that's often pretty damned bad - so you have to think, when the Goverment, The Law, The Courts, CPS, and the local community/society/church all approves of, aids and abets this crap and makes it officially-approved....
