America loves a winner!

If Obama has to throw his weight round, on the eve of the election, by cutting red tape to make sure BIG GOVERNMENT does what it's suppose to do, and serve the people , then why not elect a man who'll work to make that norm, instead of a 1 time, just for show moment ?

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

And Romney supports everything Obama's done on foreign policy.

So why switch?

"I supported Bush in 2000 and 2004 and intellegence [sic] had very little to do with that decision." - Hero

"I was wrong" - Hero, 2012

Mitt Romney, introducing his running mate: "Join me in welcoming the next President of the United States, Paul Ryan!"

Rappy's response? "You're lying, gullible ( believing in some BS you heard on msnbc ) or hard of hearing."

Did rappy just say that the only reason to switch is because the other guy is white?

If Romney was ever oppressed, I'm sure he just rubbed some money on his boo-boo and made it all go away.

Easy for simpletons like you to ignore real issues, and instead wallow in lameness.

"Brutal oppression." Tell me that's hyperbole.

And are you merely feigning racism for chuckles?

Hey, hey, hey, don't be mean. We don't have to be mean, because, remember, no matter where you go, there you are.

LOL at "just for show".

It's not personal. It's just war.

So, what are the "real" issues that should cause me to vote for Romney? Certainly they're not issues on which Obama and Romney supposedly agree (which is the rather silly premise of this thread, or the even sillier reduction to racism).

"Make that norm"? How? By abolishing FEMA completely? You're talking about Mitt Romney, the guy who said that funding FEMA was "immoral".

Was he saying that "just for show"?

I just saw a clip of Romney at a stop today endorsing Obama's 2008 campaign, saying he is the "change" candidate.

If Romney has his way, all that will be left in our pockets when he's finished robbing us will be change.

Funny, you accusing Romney of stealing Obama's campaign line, when you're stealing Obama's actual plan, to make America less prosperous, with his economic plan which actually DOES leave us with just change in our pockets.

Romney will reverse that trend, bring unemployment back down to 5% ( or under ) as, it was for most of Bush's 2 terms, and set us on the RIGHT path for the future.

I do think that , at some point, you've made enough money - Obama.

You didn't build that! - Obama.

Amusing attempt by Rap to find something...anything...to diss Obama with.

Damn, I keep missing things. I completely missed the brutal oppression; can someone clue me in? NOT Raptor, oh, please, because I fully realize his version of "brutal oppression" is totally dependent on the politics of who's doing what.

I guess we would need, oh, five or six huge disasters to convince the righties that it wasn't "just for show". I wonder what they and Rap think Obama SHOULD have done? Oh, wait, I know...ignored the whole thing and gone on campaigning, that would have tickled them pink no doubt. Doesn't matter anyway; if we had those five or six disasters and Obama did everything absolutely perfectly, wouldn't make a shred of difference.

Ooo, there's a keeper if ever there was one. I just pray we don't get the chance to see just how false it would be.

Ahhh, that tired old LIE. I'm gonna have fun with that one...

Tit for tat got us where we are today. If we want to be grownups, we need to resist the ugliness. If we each did, this would be a better reflection on Firefly and a more welcome place. I will try.
