Once he gets that done, you're fucked again because every big city in the country run by Democrats is going to wonder why they can't have safe streets.

All roads of American Destruction lead back to Democrats.

6ix! That didn't happen:

Yes. It did.

“Violent crime in Washington, DC is at a thirty-year low,” House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) posted. “Donald Trump has no basis to take over the local police department. And zero credibility on the issue of law and order. Get lost.”

Liar and idiot and hopefully the Democrat Party's next "Leader" Hakeem Jeffries apparently never played a game of chess either.

Quote:

In any event, crime remains a serious, quality-of-life-changing issue in the district. In 2023, a bad year for crime in the district, there were 40 murders per 100,000 residents. In 2024, that number fell to 27 per 100,000. So is that good? It is certainly a positive thing to have fewer murders, but 27 per 100,000 is still quite a lot. In fact, according to figures compiled by the Rochester Institute of Technology Center for Public Safety Initiatives, the homicide rate of 27 per 100,000 is the fourth-highest among U.S. cities.

40 murders per 100,000 residents in 2023? 27 murders per 100,000 residents in 2025? That's more than 1/3rd of the 111.4 deaths per 100,000 that the CDC itself alleges died of Covid in 2021, and may as well be exactly 1/5th of those peak-year Covid deaths this year. It's FAR more than the people who are still allegedly dying of Covid to this day.

You were willing to shut the world down and destroy the world economy for years over that whole Covid thing you've long forgotten about, but this issue doesn't deserve at least 1/3rd of the Democratic Party's Covid response with the number of people per capita dying being more than 1/3rd the amount of people who died nationwide during Peak Covid???

Current weekly average Approximately 2-3 per 100,000

In raw numbers from the MPD, the city had 274 murders in 2023, followed by 187 murders in 2024. Now, in 2025, if current trends continue, it appears the district might be headed for around 170 murders. So you can look at it two ways: One, it’s good that murders might go down from 187 last year to 170 this year, or two, 170 murders is still a lot.

It's still well over 1/5th of peak Covid per capita deaths, according to the CDC this year.

They don't matter to you though? Why not? Because they're mostly young black men or their victims?

Hey... check this out... We've got ourselves EXHIBIT E: Washington, D.C. Homicides by Year: https://www.wusa9.com/article/news/local/dc/washington-dc-homicides-20

Marion Barry was Mayor of D.C. both from 1979 to 1991 and somehow again in 1995 to 1999. How many murders happened in those years? Well we don't have the first 10 of them. But we've got from 1989 on...

1989: 434
1990: 474
1991: 482
1995: 360
1996: 397
1997: 301
1998: 260
1999: 241

That's a lot of murders.

You Democrats really did a great job desensitizing everyone and normalizing murder in every big Blue city in the country over the decades, didn't you?

We're going to reduce that number to ZERO in D.C. by cracking a few skulls and maybe giving a few people life in prison or even the death penalty.

And after that happens, people all over the country living in Big Blue Cities are going to DEMAND something be done about the crime all around them too.

I wanted to look into the historical population numbers of D.C. to see what the really low comparative population of D.C. was back in the 90's when the murder rate was double and sometimes nearly triple what it is today when Marion Barry was running the show.

Oddly though, at least according to the following link, the population in D.C. today isn't very much different than it was after the 1990 census.

https://matthewbgilmore.wordpress.com/district-of-columbia-population-
history
/

After peaking to over 800,000 in 1950, it steadily decreased every decade to only 572,059 by the year 2000.

In 1990, the number was 606,900. In 2010 it was 601,723.

Google AI right now goes on to allege that "The 2020 Census recorded 689,545 residents, and recent estimates suggest the population has surpassed 700,000 in 2024, according to UrbanTurf."

I've got a theory on that post 2010 increase...

Hey Google. What is the current racial makeup of Washington D.C.?

Quote:

Black or African American: 42.5% (non-Hispanic).
White: 36.6% (non-Hispanic).
Hispanic or Latino: 12%.
Asian: 4%.
Other: 4.17% (Hispanic).
Two or more races: 3.83%.

Hey Google. What was the racial makeup of Washington D.C. in the year 2000?

Quote:

Black or African American: 337,977 (59%) [or 16.5% more than there was in 2020.]
White: 177,499 (31%) [5.6% less than there was in 2020.]
Asian: 17,162 (3%) [1% less than there was in 2020.]
Other Races: 40,421 (7%) [3% more than what they record in 2020, with "mixed race" not showing up at all with the 2000 census.]

Yup.

As suspected.

Really squeezing the blacks out of D.C., aren'tcha Democrats?

No Hispanics even on the board in 2000. They would have fell somewhere with anyone else there who wasn't White/Black/Asian. In a small 7%.

Today they make up 12% of a larger population by roughly 100,000 people. And there's still another 4.6% "Other" category which Google put a "(Hispanic)" right after, leading one to believe that they're undercounting 2020's actual Hispanic population and even more of that 4.7% is to be added to the 12% that was Hispanic in 2020.

After decades worth of either lower population numbers every decade, or stabilization without any increase, 1/7th of the population they had for decades was added to D.C. over the last 20 years and it was pretty much all Latino.

And this was all 5 years ago. Before Biden* opened our borders wide open and let all the invaders inside. Who the hell knows how many people are squatting in Washington D.C. today or where any of them came from?

Somebody should find the stats wherever they're buried and add up just how many Big Blue City murders have happened per year over the last 50 or so years.

In fact, I'd say it might be a good idea to find old Census data and save it just in case.

Has anybody tried looking into the Covid death numbers recently? That was VERY hard to do right now. Even on Duck Duck Go it was bad, but you couldn't get a non-government entity within the first 2 pages of search results that gave nothing but obfuscation and no direct answers or graphs that would be helpful in any way.

Even STaticia, which I've used for plenty of stats on here over the years has all of the numbers blurred out and they require you to buy a paid for membership to see them now.

Don't believe me? Check out this page here: https://www.statista.com/statistics/1382334/number-covid-deaths-us-by-
year
/

You see that price they want to charge you to get the direct answer to the question I was asking from them?

That's right...

And as you can see to the left of that, the "Free" Account, only gives you access to the "Free Statistics", so you don't get to see those numbers now unless you're willing to drop "Access all statistics starting from $2,388 USD yearly *", immediately.

I've never once been faced with a "give me money" page on that site in my entire online life. Now they want me to pay 1/3rd of what it cost me to live last year just to have access to a number that was freely available to everyone, Nay! FORCED UPON EVERYONE ONE EVERY SINGLE DAY, just a few years ago???

Yup. That sounds about right in this crazy world we've been living in for a while, huh?

Thoughts....?
