The Bedlam Bards are doing a show in Raleigh on Saturday April 21 at Tir na nOg Irish Pub. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to Equality Now. We will also have a raffle with some great prizes, and all money from the raffle will go to Equality Now.

The BEDLAM BARDS were voted Best Renaissance Faire Band 2006, but they are also well-known in the Browncoat community. Their album "On the Drift" features covers of "Hero of Canton" and "River's Jig," as well as their own original tribute songs such as "Ballad of Joss" and "Leaf on the Wind." Their music was featured in the documentary film "Done the Impossible: The Fans' Tale of Firefly & Serenity." http://www.bedlambards.com/

Tickets for the show are $10 each and may be purchased at Camelot Treasures, in Cary, NC. http://www.camelot-treasures.com/ Or you can
drop me an email at RaleighBrowncoat @ gmail .com (remove spaces) to buy them online and have them mailed to you.

Tickets will be available at the door if they aren't sold out ahead of time, but early seating will start at 6pm for pre-sale ticket holders only.

Tickets for the RALEIGH CAN'T STOP THE SERENITY 2007 screening will go on sale at the Bedlam Bards show.

UPDATED INFO:

I've been promised some real honest to goodness FIREFLY props and costumes will be brought and displayed at this event!

As of April 5, there are still several advance tickets remaining.

In fact, we will not turn anyone away at the door, unless the restaurant reaches full capacity (which is 200 people, I think, maybe 250). The only thing is, seating on the stage side of the restaurant is limited to about 100 people, so if you don't buy an advance ticket, there's no guarantee you'll be able to sit very close to the Bards.

The Bedlam Bards CD "On the Drift" (the one with the FIREFLY songs) won a Celtic Music Award for Best Folk Recording 2006! Whee!
