Anti-heroes, Lost Shepherds, and Space Hookers! Oh my!

Sorry. Just couldn't resist. Lucky, though. I want a copy of my own.

I actually have both of the books you speak of. The first was quite good...several essays that gets one to thinking even deeper about our 'Verse...you'll enjoy it! The Companion is eye candy! So many shiny things in there, you'll go blind!

I have them too! Great books!

In the first one, my favorite was the Star Trek vs. Firefly one. Funny!

The Visual Companion.. ahhh I can sit and look at it for hours. Wonderful pics and great notes from Joss.

I'm about half way through. It's wonderful to see intelligent people taking a serious look at the 'verse.

Also, the fake memo notes from the F*x programmer to Joss are worth 10x the price of the book. I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe.

Oh, and I also bought Water's Edge starring Nathan Fillion. A decent thriller in the vein of Dead Calm. Our BDH is in it lots, his character is rather Mal-like and he takes his shirt off twice (if that's important to you ). Plus, there was kissing.

i bought the book two weeks ago and i have just devoured every inch! the letters to the executives we so funny that i read them like 5 times. All of the essays were great, but i especialy liked the one on freedom, wash and zoe's relationship, and the compairison of the reavers to sawney bean. some of the essays provided deep insight into the show and were really intreaging. i especially found that "we're all just floating," and "whores and goddessess" really made me think about my ideals and opened up new ways of thinking.
