recently i thought about the lore intro of serenity and what the teacher said that the central planets (the white sun system) thrived with the new technology while the outer planets (possibly the border and rim worlds) refused to use the technology making them the new wild west as we know and love and here's what bothered me later in the movie the crew goes to beaumonde (a rim world) where it seems to be infested with the new technology (picture:

) well maybe 'partially' i dunno but according to this video

the georgia system is not so flush with the new technology also dont forget the abandoned pplanet miranda the birthplace of the reavers in the film the serenity crew explores an abandoned colony on the dangerous planet judging by its architecture the colony seems to have advanced technology before the reaver attack so what do you think which worlds have technology and which of them dont?
