Gina to star in ABC pilot

I'm really happy for her! She's been so awesome in everything I've seen her in. She definitely earned this opportunity.

If Suits gets a 7th season, her presence will definitely be missed. What would that firm be without Jessica? Still, if it means a show with Gina Torres as the lead, I'll cope.

I'd rather see Gina back as Helen in a Cleopatra 2525 revival. The Season 2 (series ending) finale was the best episode of the series. It ended with Voice learning the origin of the Bailys, and with the resistance launching a massive counter-attack on the surface against them. It was only shown for a few seconds but it was emotionally thrilling and visually amazing. It offered so much potential for a great third season. Then ... pfff... the series is abruptly cancelled and a year later Gina's in Firefly. I want my girls back!

For me, Cleo 2525 was a guilty pleasure. I watched for the lovely young ladies, but stayed for the fantastic action and sci-fi goodness. Gina was quite good, I was glad to see her in Firefly, I honestly believed she could kick Jayne's ass. Sci-fi goodness continued.
