Summer is going to be on csi on thursday. Ive just watched a trailer for the ep and it also seemed to feature a guy with a blue hand.

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

NO!!! Really????

Wow, one of my favorite actors and one of my favorite shows! Whoever's standing between me and the TV on Thursday is going to have a Signy-sized hole in them- and that's not leaving much!!!

Trask43 - fwiw - your site should be the OFFICIAL Summer Glau site - in my frequently right opinion (imfro).

thank you for the heads up! I wouldn't have known about it until it was too late, and it is definitely the kind of appearance I like to tape on my 'Whedonverse Actors in other roles' video tape!
I never watch CSI normally so this will be a good opportunity to sample that show too.

I guess it's a bit late to mention this now, but J. August Richards ( Charles Gunn ) was in CSI: Miami last week. Very brief scene taking a group of Jurors on a tour though the house of a victim. Opening teaser only, wasn't in it after that.

Hmmmm... Not to sound like I'm knocking you Trask43... but...

I'm guessing you must have seen a brief glimpse of her in the trailer. I've been checking IMDB and my local tv guide site, and neither seem to indicate her as a guest star for this episode.

I watch CSI on a regular basis myself, and didn't notice her in the "next week on CSI" trailer they showed last week. But maybe they show different trailers up here in Canada.

Is there any way we can confirm of deny this bit of info?

BTW... absolutely love your site.

Summer Glau on CSI?! GREAT news!!! I love the show a lot.

It'll be interesting to see what kind of role she plays.

I remember Gina Torres' role as the female prison warden. It was a good episode.

Thanks for the heads up!

Thats not to knock andy though who runs summerglau.co.uk Ive spoke to him on quite a few occasion and he's a good guy and Im sure they'll do a good job with it.

Im sure summer is in this weeks episode she just only has a relatively small part. I got the info off one of the guys who runs a csi site. Thanks again for nice comments regarding the site.

Hmmm... ok then... that would seem to be a fairly reliable source.

Must be a very small part. They don't even list it on her page on IMDB.

I'll keep my eyes peeled thursday from 9 till 10pm. See if I can spot her.

Thanks Trask43.

For them as not watch the show, this ep will pick up on an investigation into a serial killer that began last season. The police thought they had the guy locked up and on death row, but the day they executed him, the real killer struck again.

The killer uses a particular shade of blue paint, which he puts on a railing in a a remote part of campus (outdoors), near a drinking fountain. When a female victim comes along, gets the paint on her hand, and goes to wash it off at the fountain, he grabs her, rapes her, and strangles her. He takes other steps to leave little evidence linking himself to the crime, and was not caught at the end of last season's episode, leading the main character -- Grissom, who is a near genius at crime scene investigation -- to declare that what really scared him was that, at last, Grissom might be up against a killer that is smarter than him.

My guess is that Summer will be the victim, which means a brief stint of acting and a lot of lying around on a slab, being dissected. I hope I'm wrong and she gets to do more than just scream and die, since she deserves bigger roles than that. We'll see!

INSANESPIKE

After seeing the trailer for this episode sometime last week, the first thing that popped into my head was "Two by two, hands of blue". It looked as if one of the writers on the show was a browncoat themselves!

And now I hear that Summer is actually going to be part of this episode? Talk about ironic lol.

"How drunk was I last night?"
