So a slightly off topic plug here for our new podcast Broadwaves. While the name of course comes from Serenity and it derives from the segment of the same name that we featured in the Firefly and Serenity podcast The Signal for many years (and at the moment, it's all ex-Signal crew involved in the new show)...we probably won't be featuring much Firefly related stuff :-)

Instead, the aim is to highlight less well known or less mainstream material from a variety of formats (TV, film, webseries, manga, anime, audiodrama, even books) that we think people might enjoy but might not have heard of or been given enough info about to go find it and give it a go.

Episode 1 is out now. (This will be major spoiler free, the follow up show will be full on spoiler filled discussion)

Our subject for this episode is Sense8

Sense8 is a Netflix original show, about eight people who start to discover they have a connection with each other. They learn that they can see through each other's eyes, and borrow each other's skills. They have become, in Sense8 mythology, a "cluster".

There are plenty of people out to get them. Individually, they each have their own stories, so that's eight adventures for a start. But together, they form part of a bigger story, a story about what it means to be human.

In this episode of Broadwaves, we introduce you to Sense8, and we do it without giving away any major spoilers - because if you haven't seen it yet, we want you to watch it.

But yeah, exited about new Serenity comics coming soon, so that's likely to get mentioned at some point - we won't be able to help ourselves :-)

Not sure what's going on but we haven't received any emails as far as I'm aware - and we have checked. The email address is feedback at broadwaves dot org. I don't think the old Signal one is still active and it's entirely likely that any personal email you may have had for Jill is long since deactivated or abandonned. The offer is still open of course so please do try that address. If all else fails, there's the Signal blog - which you posted to - or the Facebook (thesignalpodcast) page - which are definitely active and monitored. Hope to hear from you soon!
