I watched Dezignated Survivor starting with the premeire episode. Started out OK and I wuz expecting it to pick up az the riterz, actorz, directorz, etc grew into it.

It did not. It got worse.

The attraction wuz Keifer Sutherland in a 24 inspired show. 24 had its flawz, but it wuz jenerally entertaining, reliably supplying good action, suspens, and story.

Dezignated Survivor failz on all 3. The "winter finale" wuz last Wenzday. It wuz the last episode for me. The last straw wuz the ultra-predictable T-bone crash the week befor, but I watched the next show anyway to see how lame it wuz.

The lamosity level wuz wut I expected. Its like they hired a Pakistan script servis that payz minimum waje to hacks whoz qualificationz are that they can type, know English and hav watched at least 1 seazon uv 24. And the roof leaks, they dont get any breaks, therez no heat or air conditioning, and the boss only showz up to yell at them to hurry up.

Wen a simple fone call will obviously preclude the following action sene, the emotion prodused iz exasperation, not suspens.

It left a bad taste in my brain. I watched the entire Firefly seriez to wash it out.

The contrast iz incredible. It had been a wile sins the last time I watched and this renewed my appreciation uv how great it iz; how far above most other showz. Tommorow I will watch the movie.

And sometimes when I am, I see dreamtrove arguing or possibly trolling, at any rate playing "someone on the internet is wrong" and i have to whack him upside the head.

The reason I said TheRightStuff (Chrisisall) was my other inspiration is that, while sock can't troll, the idea of creating a username to post opinions that disagree with you, another River6213 trick, was really done in an ace job by Chris, and so I added it to Sockpuppets rules, he couldn't post in agreement to me, only oppposed. I just couldn't see the point of traditional sockpuppets, the illusion of support for your position? if the position can't stand for itself, sink it. Actually, if it can't stand being sunk, sink it.

Similarly, what does trolling get you? another flame you're going to have to waste more future time responding to?

So I'm pretty sure i'm sock all the time right now, but i know i'm not in archives if you go back. It was pretty widely used by the political center, most of whom are now gone. We still have 6 :)
