Yeah, I couldn't figure out how he would role-play though this site either, but then I'm not up on that stuff. Hubby ran a game like a decade ago, but all his gamer friends have died or moved away...

I never really got it to begin with, but I'm not the type to want to sit in a room for 6 hrs+ with other people. Just sitting still for a whole movie hurts some days, let alone having to speak that much

....

There are a couple things. There's always firefly chat which is almost never in use, so someone could use it.

Alternatively, there's play by mail which is a very old tradition, you stated everything that you intend to do, and then the gm gets back to you.

As for game mechanics, it would be easy enough for Haken to program them in to the site.
