As a kid I never forgot this exchange, delivered with such conviction by Martin. Here's hoping he's achieved that "eternity of happiness" after all.

That sounds so much like "choose freedom & liberty over slavery to somebody else" - just in a more modern philosophical context. Concepts like Founders of Democratic Republics, and those spotlighted by Braveheart, for instance. Which role was that from?
