On Friday's issue Entertainment Weeklylisted the 50 best television shows on DVD. Well, they didn't include Firefly, and they had given the DVD for the best show ever an A last year. So why wasn't it good enough? They had crap like Real World New York, and Survivor instead. I think we should draft a letter and have all of us sign itto send to them. We could have used the publicity. Is anyone a particular cunning wordsmith? I just think they need to be reminded that they left out the best show in the 'verse. Am I overreacting? I don't think so, but I may be wrong. What do youguys think?

Every episode of firefly is better than most of the movies I see for my profession, and that makes it special.

I wouldn't get worked up over it any alleged best of list that would include some of crap you just mentioned obviosly can't be taken seriously. In fact I think it would be more offensive if Firefly was on the same list with some of that junk.

I'm really surprised by this, EW was one of the few mainstream entertainment magazines that gave coverage to Buffy and Angel. There's probably a decent shot of a letter getting in since whenever theres a ranking issue they tend to publish a bunch of 'how could you leave out' letters. And they have printed letters supporting Firefly in the past (I think it was in response to the DVD review, or an article on cancelled shows or something). It might be worth a shot.

If nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do. -"Angel"

MALICIOUS

Zoid could write a letter that would insult the hell out of them without them even realizing it. In fact, they would probably feel flattered. He has that ability.

Anything would do. EW is usuallypretty goodto Whedon fans, they do like Buffy and Angel. They were very positive to Firefly too, which is why I'm surpirsed that they left it out. They gave the dvd an A after all. Just a reminder would work.

Every episode of firefly is better than most of the movies I see for my profession, and that makes it special.
