From Keith R.A. DeCandido's livejournal:

Quote:

I got confirmation from Editor Glenn that the book will still be released in April.

I just -- GAH.

I wondered, and went looking, and gorramit, this could have a totally negative effect upon our BDM.

GAH!

Edited at 3:45pm Mountain Time.

Oops. theBlack over at the movie board pointed out that I may have just misread things. I guess my emotions are running as high as everyone else's.

It's the collection of essays that's still due for April.

It was just announced this morning that Serenity has been bumped from a 22 April release date to a 30 September release date. There will be a concomitant delay in my novelization.

Heh. Sorry for the alarm, folks.

No I hadn't heard but checked out the link and it looks awsome. Yeah I've been taking a break from Firefly for the last couple of months just started coming back again this Sunday. Glad I did seems like there is a lot new developments.

Geez, I step out of the apartment for an hour, and I miss an entire thing.

Anyhow, the novelization will be moved to September, yes. The book I was referring to in the quoted post was Finding Serenity, the essay collection on Firefly that will have contributions by self, Jewel Staite, Mercedes Lackey, Lawrence Watt-Evans, and others.
