Well, now that the show is cancelled, I seem to have all the free time necessary to voice my opinion about how awsome the show is...er...was...hmmm...

Anyway, just wanted to say what a great site this is and announce my arrival, of a fashion. Lurked a bit and, upon being satisfied as to the fine quality of you folks, decided to plant a root.

Yup. Even Smilies asside, this board is easier to navigate and better to look at.

Not to over assert my Newbie status here, but the one thing that could make it a whole lot cooler would be to get the Timeline et al up to date. I'd love a catalogue of ships, a list of Mal's fringe contacts besides Badger and Patience, more on Allience structure, etc. I'm sure there's bunches out there.

Because I have absoutly waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much free time, I'm working on a Firefly database. It looks like it's going to be either a Microsoft Excel file or a tab-delineated .txt file. I'll post when I'm done.

It's not too much free time, I'd venture to say, but instead much more of a desire to spend what free time you have on Firefly. :)

Believe me, if I had all the episodes on tape, I'd be doing the same thing...

I have a database on this site, except I don't have time to work on it. However, if you do work on a database, can I include whatever info you come up with in this site's database? Credit will be given, of course. That goes for everyone else as well.
