News Item:

The Big Bang Theory will call it quits, after 279 episodes, on May 2019
according to CBS and show producers. What started in 2007 will soon end in 2019. One of the longest running shows in modern TV history.

I'm not sure "Sheldon" is a spin off, it's more like a prequel. Howard and Bernadette could carry a series.

Actually, you get two for the price of one.

spin off - a book, film, or television series derived from a similar successful book, film, or television series

prequel - a work (such as a novel or a play) whose story precedes that of an earlier work

I rest my case...

Howard and Bernadette would make a great spinoff.

It was terrible. You should see the videos on YouTube where they removed the laugh track that tells you when you should be laughing and it's a total cringe fest.

After Arrested Development finally broke the sit-com formula, I don't know how anybody can watch a "comedy" with a laugh track anymore.
