Tru Calling DVD Question

How do you see what the current sales are of a DVD set? I'm curious how the Tru Calling season 1 set is doing, as FOX appears to have cancelled the show. Strangely familiar...

IMO Tru Calling had a good first season, but not totally stellar. While I enjoyed the show and gladly purchased the S1 DVD set, I did think that some of the episodes were weaker than they could have been. However, in the last part of the season the show/writing really hit it's stride and seemed to be headed in very interesting directions. What REALLY annoys me is that they actually filmed 6 episodes of season 2 and now it seems likely that they will never be aired. FOX strikes again...

Are you sure they won't be aired? Fox is pushing the "year round season" concept. For example, "24" doesn't start until January. Maybe they're just holding off on it?

I don't know, but I stumbled across the following in a review of the the S1 DVD:

"Tru Calling is not being renewed for a second season, the producers have already reportedly moved onto other projects, and the sets have been dismantled. Six episodes were filmed for the following season, but it doesn’t sound like they’re ever going to see the light of day."

I can't comment on the veracity, but it's not a good indicator.
