Keeping it G-rated (because there are some really gross things out there) I accidentally bumped into this link 5 minute ago.

The Mariko Takahashi (poodle) fitness video:

Remember, G-rated links (or at most PG-13)
This is a family site

I once stumbled into a site that was so disturbing, I avoided the internet for a week. The images still haunt me (and I am a fourty-something, non-religious male whos been around the world a few times and thought nothing could bother me that much).
Lets just say tubgirl was at least alive - Enough said.

This one I found randomly years ago, and to this day, I remember the url, because it was so weird:

NIKNAK

OK, My brother sometimes shows me where to find some weird videos. Here are two of the best:

http://www.planetradio.net/ogre-battle.large.mpeg
http://cal.dioxide.net/media/mandc/

Also there's a excellent spoof of SETI from the same guys who fooled the media into believing they'd built a potato powered web server a few years back:

http://totl.net/STI/

I bet everyone's seen this one:

http://www.bushorchimp.com/

And some funny quotes from IRC (includes some swearing):

SOUPCATCHER

That poodle workout video was hilarious!

My favorite site just for the "HUH?!?" factor would have to be luddite.com

We were messing around in the office about five years ago trying to come up with the stupidest url's we could think of and then seeing if someone had registered them. One of my nominations was luddite.com, just because I couldn't see how anyone could possible reconcile owning that domain. Turns out someone did and they're still around all these years later:

For those who love cybersex or those who revile the entire institution. Not for the kiddies, but it's all reading anyway. This is the legend of one man having a good time and thuroughly ruining everyone else's nerdly passion, using the nom de guerre "BloodNinja".

Well, this site is quite odd, re-enactments of famous movies in 30 seconds. But with bunnies (or maybe midgets).

HERO

I found this really stupid website where a bunch of people with to much time on their hands devote themselves to an obscure TV show that was didn't even last half a season.

There is just something seriously wrong with those people.

http://www.rathergood.com/moon_song/

Ah, the Lair of the Crab of Ineffable Wisdom...one of my favorite "let's kill time" haunts...I miss the Viking Kittens though, although the Northern Kittens are fun too.

For those of you who haven't seen the "We Love the Moon" animation, this is what the shortlived and somewhat disturbing Quizno's Subs commercials were based on. I thought they were hi-larious, but most people thought they were just very, very disturbing and inappropriate for a restaurant. Apparently Quizno's got complaints and discontinued the spots...well, go to gojiro's link and see the original.

PUMAMANREDUX

Here are my contributions to this thread:

A) http://homokaasu.org/gematriculator/ searches for 'for different patterns through the text, such as the amount of words beginning with a vowel. If the amount of these matches is divisible by a certain number, such as 7 (which is said to be God's number), there is an incontestable argument that the Spirit of God is ever present in the text. Another important aspect in gematria are the numerical values of letters: A=1, B=2 ... I=9, J=10, K=20 and so on. The Gematriculator uses Finnish alphabet, in which Y is a vowel.' and this results in the site one enters in the space for it on the Gemtricular site being rated as X percent good and X percent evil based on numerology (this also works with pieces of text).

for example http://aol.com is rated at 33% evil/ 67% good .. based on the criteria ..

the Gemtriculator doesn't want to rate fireflyfans.net .. I get an internal server error when I try to get fff.net rated

B> my second contribution is a bit of humor called "The First Church of Shatnerology" at http://www.shatnerology.com/

C> http://www.seventhsanctum.com/ is a site that has randomizers for anime character names, descriptions of all sorts of characters .. or as the site puts it: Here you'll find tools for writers, gamers, and artists; randomly assembling names, concepts, and more for when you need inspiration, or just a bit of amusement.

No this ain't a sick joke it's real
