The Matt Damon one? If so, yeah, it was pretty cool. The book was also good, but I loved seeing the planet in the movie.

I'm guessing it's about a planet or a God of War.

If it's the latter, probably starring a non-binary albino black midget in a wheelchair, because yanno, Hollywood.

Once again you are "guessing" because you have no knowledge, and once again all you have is reactionary garbage.

'Nother day in 6ix's douche land

BTW, a non-binary albino black midget would be FAR more interesting than you.

Are you talking about the 2010 animated comedy?

Because Matt Damon was in "The Martian". Which, that was a good movie, too.

PS...We saw Men in Black International over the weekend, and while not as bad as reported, it really was just a reformulation of the original. I mean, it's not like you should expect realism out of it anyway. Go in looking for mindless entertainment and ye shall find it. At least I wasn't bored or cringing through the whole thing. We give it a B+

I'm "guessing" once again because I'm making a joke and honestly I couldn't care less. I'm no more interested in seeing a movie about the planet Mars than I am seeing a movie about the God of War Mars, whether they're historically accurate or not.

This is more about the running gag than anything else. JSF makes a joke in the cinema thread the other day about wanting to see the Matrix 4 movie that's being talked about, and not the one starring Rihanna. I thought he was serious, so I looked it up and found an article that this is indeed an idea being pitched. The real joke was that JSF was just joking and had never heard about Rihanna being in the lead of a Matrix movie when he made the comment.

This shit writes itself, and as I finished my reply about it in the cinema thread, "Predictable much, Hollywood?"

You're probably right. Especially one in a wheelchair.

Ah, The Martian, not Mars. I was wondering if you were talking about the NatGeo show.

I really enjoyed The Martian. The book is better, but the movie is pretty good as well. I bought the extended edition on 4k, it's freaking beautiful even on my limited theater setup.

Why bother to comment on something you don't care about?? Need attention??

Believe it or not, most people here don't follow your every word, you narcissist.

I liked that show, NatGeo's Mars, at least what I saw of it. It had a spotty release on cable in my neighborhood. Whoa - they made a second season - missed that too.
Season 1 is on Amazon now but I'm not sure I want to drop $12 for it.

I'm guessing with the recent ads for upcoming AppleTV that it might come with their new unit.

No they are not the same. Dumbass.
At least you were too illiterate to put it in Cinema Forum, otherwise somebody might have known what you were jabbering about.

I think we can all agree on one thing...

Never send Matt Damon anywhere that he needs rescuing from , ever again

Not to France
Not to some distant planet near a black hole.
Not to Mars.

Cause next time, we ain't comin' for him !

Yeah I get that wish but when I first started posting they avoided trolling in the common thread. It appears they're getting sicker.
