In "Serenity" we never see him declare a destination that he's heading for--we do get that great moment where he talks to Kaylee about the journey. We get other moments that let us see that Book considers that he belongs on Serenity, but has he ever gotten the direct nod that says Mal considers him part of the Serenity crew? Mal gave explicit acknowlegement to Simon (and tacitly to River). Is Book still paying a regular room and board fee, or has his help in rescuing Mal from Niska and providing useful advice during "The Gift" and "Our Mrs. Reynolds" moved him to crew status?

Where does one find these unshot scripts? And WTF is "The Gift"? _______________________________________________ I wish I had a magical wish-granting plank.
