KIRKARAMA

Hey Browncoats! I'd like to introduce you to Mae Serenity Mendoza. My wife chose her first name (after her mom who passed away) and I got the honor of choosing her middle name. Her birth name is "Mae Serenity", though we've been calling her "Firefly".

Thanks JW

It's a beautiful name, even without the pandering to our flannish sensibilities. She's beautiful and you and yours are very lucky!

Congratulations! A splendid name for your daughter and even better, if she marries someone called Adrian Raine (for example) and is asked her name, they will hear her reply "May Serenity Reign"! Or is that too much?

You know, I once thought I'd heard the worst thing ever, when a guy I knew named his baby after something he was a HUGE fan of. In fact, I still cringe when I think of poor little "Vlad Lestat Gunther".

This time around, it just made me smile - what a lovely name. Congratulations!!!

Now let's hope she lives up to her name - as I understand it, babies are rarely 'serene' :P

Of course, Serenity Valley wasn't serene, either - but once you were there you couldn't leave (that was way more "Hotel California" than I had intended).

Now, if she was named Vera...

Congratulations to your family sized family, and Mae Serenety is a lovely name.
