When I was a kid growing up Tim Considine seemed to be everywhere on tv. The younger brother of Outer Limits legend Bob Considine, Tim starred in My Three Sons, The Swamp Fox, and Spin and Marty.

I'd have to look him up as maybe I've seen him.

First thing I thought of was Hardy Boys. He was Frank.

But he was a Disney regular, since the Mickey Mouse Club.

If you've seen the film 'Patton', he's the one who gets slapped by Patton. RIP Tim

Another tragic death to report this awful week is Laurel Goodwin. She was featured in the unaired original Star Trek pilot episode The Cage. Fortunately Roddenberry used footage from that episode to make the 2-parter The Menagerie, hence securing Miss Goodwin's Star Trek immortality.

She was the last living survivor of that memorable cast that included Jeffrey Hunter, John Hoyt, Susan Oliver, Majel Barrett, and Jon Lormer. R.I.P.

That costume designer really didn't get the concept of "future" very well.

Lucille Ball's company Desilu produced Star Trek, while Desilu was also producing many other tv shows at the same time. The available money for sets, costumes, and special effects for Star Trek was stretched pretty thin between all the shows.

That's a pretty good piece of obscure trivia there Poindexter. I don't know how you could know that off the top of your head. You looked it up, right?
