Okay people, time to move the discussion to a more open space. The first thread was getting a little crowded (160-someodd responses by my last check) and is now taking WAAAAAAYYYY too long to load on my PC.

Plus, Mal told me to start a new thread for her, and told me she'd come over and dye MY hair if I didn't comply...

So, let the tribute continue...

Mal, to christen your new thread, I made you a sash!

*holds out a creme brulee-colored sash (sashes and hair should always match!) which says in beautiful calligraphy "The Ever-Loved Mal PS- Do Not Steal This Sash"*

Now, can I have a ride on your scooter?

I heard gay people like those kinds of cookies, so I think they must be horrible, and I'm offended that you would like them. You must like gay people if you like those cookies, so you're a bad person.

Forgive me Mistress. It's been 5 or 6 posts since my last profession of servitude, and act of contrition...

Nice new church, by the way. Bit empty, though. Ah well, I'm sure it'll fill up nicely, soon enough. The only problem is, the old sanctuary had some really nice graffiti. Now, it'll just fade its way down the Recent Thread list, and disappear.

Swanky thread, Mal. I hope that was a valet. Otherwise, he should invest in a different coat. Anyway, I just stopped by here to produce this *holds out little chocolate chip-shaped seeds*

We'll plant these and in four months, we will be living Willy Wonka-style. Well, but with cookies not candy...and no creepy, small, orange-faced men workers

*quickly checks the height of all the men present*

Well...mostly. Maybe some of you would like to invest in some heels for the Ebo Cornation Gala over on the Sereni-TREE?

*opens her trench coat to reveal she is wearing several pairs of stillettos*

Takers? Hologram me.

*wrestles her scooter away from the guy who is clearly not a valet and was quite offended by her comment, and sails away, in seach of other sugary-shaped seeds*

If we're living Wonka-like, I want a chocolate RIVER as well! Not just a chocolate bush or tree or plant or whatever the seeds grow into.

OK, people, I need some cheering up! ASAP! I filed for divorce yesterday. Ick. My son just went to spend the night at a friend's house and now I am all alone in the middle of a snowstorm. Well, alone except for you guys that is. So, I am looking to you. Can you help a gal out? Maybe some shadow puppets or a game of truth or dare? More cookies? Virtual booze? Anything?

While I am not nearly as accomplished a groveller as Zoid, I do like to think that I can offer heart-felt sympathy equally well!

Sorry, Mal. The ending of any long-term relationship causes emotional turmoil, I think, even if things were not going particularly well. It can be like a piece of one's soul being torn out. And the loss of a relationship lasting many years or decades (not sure if that's the case here) can hurt proportionally worse. You are missing a piece of yourself.

On the other hand, you have always struck me as a smart woman who knows what is going on in her life. If you felt the need to file for divorce, I can only suppose that it is not a frivolous decision, that you know what you are doing, and that ultimately it will be a good thing for you.

Please allow me to be happy for you in that regard.

Truth or Dare? Booze? Cookies?

What would you like?

Goodness, that's a while.

I cannot have the slightest idea how much that must hurt. And "sorry" is so inadequate.

No, a giant vacuum would be silly. Besides, it's been done!

No, the plans for my weather control machine include a battery of orbital laser platforms, possibly with gravity control devices, which would focus on the coming storm fronts and zap them out of existance. Or else lift the storm out of the atmosphere and carefully place it somewhere else.

To operate this device, I would have two humongous dials in set in a control panel in my living room. One dial would have locations, such as "Colorado Springs, Colorado" or "Bear Delaware" (certainly Ebo needs no weather help in California!) and the other dial would have a happy smiling sun face, a frowning sun behind a cloud... you know, like the weather men and women use!

* CageyBee hears a terribly loud turbine engine rev up behind her. She turns around to see a huge machine, not unlike a bulldozer, but with chainsaw-like attachments on the front in addition to a dozer blade. Up in the driver's seat is The Real Me, smiling and waving. *

Hello, CageyBee! Doing it with a shovel would take forever! Check out my brand new river-digging machine. With this, I've already gotten a third of the way from Hershey, Pennsylvania, to Bear, Delaware. Here, climb on board. You can take a turn driving, if you like.
