Serenity/Firefly merch?

Don't know if this has been discussed before, but does anyone know if they will make Serentiy merchandise for the movie? Action figures, models, t-shirts, hats, etc...? I'm thinking I really need a Serenity model for my computer desk.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

The only thing we know for sure is there will be a novelization of the movie by Keith DeCandido. You can find a link for it on Amazon here:

There was also talk that there are plans for one or two novels for Firefly/Serenity, but no word on who may write them. I am hoping it will be Keith, if not him perhaps Margaret Weis. She is a fan of the show as well.

We were also told there will be a trading card series for the movie done by Inkworks who has done cards for Buffy, Angel, and other series:

Well thats a start. I know they (suits, bigwigs, etc..) probably don't consider Firefly popular enough to do toy lines or anything major. I just hope maybe some smaller compamies would put a few things out there. I know I'd buy some stuff.
