BRATTEELICIOUS

My best friends got me into watching the show. They have been talking about it for quite awhile and how good it was. Not being much of a Scifi fan I didn't think I would like it. Oh, how wrong I was (you won't catch me saying that too often so mark it on your calendars) My friend and I were just going to sit down and watch the pilot, but we ended up watching the entire first DVD. They had lent the second DVD to another friend, so I had to wait till he was done watching it, so I could watch it. I loved all the episodes, and wish I could have seen more. We went to WonderCon in SF and got to see Adam, Nathan, Summer, and Joss during the panel. They were hilarious. I have a bunch of pictures I took too. I can't believe it took me so long to get into this show, but I'm so happy I saw it now.

I also want to thank Dan for being so great. It was my first comic book festival, or anything like it and you were so great. A great "tour guide" and just an awesome guy to hang out with. Thank you so much again!!!! Can't wait to see the video of the panel and the rest of the show, and hope to see you again in SD in July

Welcome and what the hell took you so long?

I'm convinced that meeting our BDHs in person is a sure fire way to convert just about anyone. Not that I needed converting, mind you, but I got to see Jewel, Nathan and Adam at DragonCon last Sept - WOW. Like you, it was my first venture into the Con world, and it was something to behold. Naturally, the Firefly panel was the main reason I paid the price of admission, there was non stop stuff to see and do there. Hope they come back next Sept(I'm sure they will ) as it'll be just days before the big premier of Serenity.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome.

I'm still trying to find my way around, and looking up anything I can when I'm not busy at work. I've now set up my comp with a firefly screensaver and wallpapers

I can't believe it's taken me this long to see this show, but I'm so happy I've seen it now. I was missing out on something great.

I discovered Firefly in a similar fashion, a good friend of mine's father is a very VERY smart guy, and he has geeky smart friends (that have well paying jobs, unlike myself). One of his friend's sent him the whole box set, myself being a bored, curious, sci-fi enjoying, caffienated nerd, i popped one in the x-box. Then, i watched them all (called in sick to work and everything). It was lots of fun, and now whenever our little geek clan gets together, we reel off all manner of quotes from the series.

For what it's worth welcome, but, it's somewhat ironic because i just became a member myself, oh well.

I'm sure that if I had all the DVDs at one time I'm sure that I would have watched them all at the same time LOL. Lucky for me I work for my family, so I probably would have brought the DVDS to work and watched them here hehe...

Well I'm not so sure my best friend would have let me do that, she wanted to watch them with me, too.

I can't wait to get my own set. I'm working on converting my mom and my brother I know they'd both love the show. Also we're working on converting some more friends of ours. Wish us luck, not that we really need it, because everyone who sees this show seems to become instantly addicted to it.

DanRegal - You went above and beyond! I know I would have had fun, but you made me feel not so intimidated by everything because I was a newbie to the ConWorld LOL, Just thank you again!

Yes, i'm afraid we're the most AWESOME fans of anything....ever. I'm trying to convert my girlfriend, this is tricky since she's in college in Iowa, whilst i'm at KU. But, this weekend i'm going to see her, i intend to make her sit and watch the whole thing with me, second priority. Good luck with the finding of more converts, i've set a goal for ten people to be addicted with me, before Sept. 30th. ROFL!!! It's somewhat odd, but my 14 year old sister who is specifically not allowed to watch anything remotely violent or sexual, is watching the first dvd right now, i mean, as i'm typing. I thought it was somewhat ironic. Everyone have good days!

I swear on my pretty floral bonnet, I will end you!
