BADGERSHAT

Episode 15 would have been a two-parter.

They go to some major Ariel-type world, where the population is controlled by the media, under the rule of a psycho warmonger who took political office--twice--under questionable means.

They get into all kinds of scrapes, and need to take down the evil media conglomerate, "HOUND," before it's too late for the population's survival...

Wow! What a script! I finally got around to readin it. It played nicely on the mental t.v. screen. A tad bit familiar to The Message, but still.... I feel like I just watched another episode. Thanks!

I took this question to mean "to what lengths would you have gone to continue the series? or at the very least, have just one more episode?"

I would have been willing to (and still would) sleep with Nathan Fillion. I know, it is the ultimate sacrifice, but that's how strongly I feel about this show.

Ok, seriously? I would have contributed MY HARDEARNED MONEY to a fund for the fans to purchase the show from Fx .

I would have vowed to watch (24/7) whatever channel aired/airs the show.

Knowing what I know now, I would have purchased or consumed whatever items/services the advertisers supporting the show were advertising.

I might also have considered purchasing a speaker system for my car so I could do public service type announcements: "Attention! There is a tsunami coming! Evacuate your homes and head for high ground! Also, watch Firefly on Fox, Fridays nights at 8:00 if you want to live!"

Like that.

That's about the reaction I had. I kept thinking that it shouldn't have been made so close to The Message if it was really going to be the next episode. Almost felt like a brand new episode though. Shiny! Although it also just left more things open. Did Simon really do what I think he did?

I expected the next episode to have to do with Inara leaving. Since I still consider Heart of Gold to be the last episode, not Objects In Space. Just seems to make more sense that way to me. So I sorta figured that would be the next issue to be dealt with. Can't wait for the comics to shed some light on what we missed out on.

Well if you are going to make the ultimate sacrifice with Nathan, I guess I'll make the ultimate sacrifice with Sean.

But if that couldn't have been worked out, I would have liked to see the episode discuss the matter of Inara leaving, Kaylee and Simon FINALLY getting it on, and perhaps watch the crew get themselves out of some sort of trouble.

Actually, I kinda was, though I regret it now, seeing as how I generally enjoy your contributions to the board. I should have said "Unbelievable", because I can't wrap my mind around how bitter people STILL are over elections 2000, 2004, and basically everything George W. Bush does. It even finds it way into honest discussions about everyone's favorite show. So, sorry if you're sore at me. Just can't believe we're STILL letting partisanship infect the board.

Honestly, I was just trying to be humorous--the whole thing is a source of funniness now, even though I don't particularly care fore Georgie-poo.

Not terribly fond of John Kerry, either. Actually, politicians in general basically suck.

Glad you like my contributions, though!

Yeah, that's basicly where I've come to. Used to be hard-core conservative. But now I'm just disillusioned with the whole process. Hence my spending so much time here...

Ditto. When I'm tired of the rest of the world acting like a whiny, spoiled 3 yr old in wet diapers, I come here or watch the DVD. It's so choice.

TENTHCREWMEMBER

Could you please just make it stranger? Stranger. Odder. Could be weirder. More bizarre. How about uncanny?

Wow! For episode 15....hrmmm...

I would allow myself to be the personal male servant of all the female starring cast.
Sex, cooking, sex, cleaning, sex, footrubs, sex, hair played with, sex, poetry, sex and/or any combination of the aforementioned. Did I mention the sex? Because they coulda used and abused me if it meant the show must go on...of course it didn't, so their loss I s'pose. ;)

The offer remains open, should a Serenity movie sequel be in doubt. :) Oh, the sacrifices I would make for them...
