You could have died on any day since I was born and nobody would have been surprised. I think the big surprise was just how long you managed to endure.

I heard a clip of a concert Ozzy did just 2 weeks before his death and he sounded surprisingly good. Way better than Bruce Springsteen sounds these days and 100 times better than the Smashing Pumpkins sounded a few years ago when they did a live show in Chicago and it was a train wreck. Billy Corgan's voice is just cashed.

Never a fan of heavy metal but even I know who Ozzy is or was. The radio station I listen too out of Washington State play a lot of his stuff. I never knew it was him as I've never listen to Black Sabbath or even when he went solo. That last gig he did you could see he was in bad shape. Sitting on that chair unable to move.

Listening to him talk when he was a little better. Oy! That accent of his was so thick you could cut with a knife. I could barely understand him.
