Trailer 2 was extremely dissappointing.

Trailer 3 more than made up for it. Trailer 3 is EXACTLY how the movie should be advertised.

"Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government."

I agree that the second trailer put me in conniptions of foreboding, and that the third one was actually enjoyable (although I confess I never imagined that Zaphod kept his second head under his chin?!).

The scary thing is that the reason the third trailer was better was that the trappings of the trailer itself were done better. The movie advertised may be as dreadful as the second one seems to indicate. I agree that silly slapstick humor was a big part of the book, but the part I liked was the dry, droll British humor, satire, and wordplay.

Was it just me or was the music very similar to the score for Men In Black? I hope the rest of the movie doesn't conciusly imitate the other film. The first MIB was enjoyable, but I'm not interested in seeing Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as an English remake of MIB.

I was so looking forward to this, but now my feelings are mixed at best. Then again, perhaps I should take a deep breath and, above all,
Don't Panic!

It's doubtful the music in the trailer was actually from the film. That rarely happens, often music from other films is used, primarily because the score of the film is rarely finished by the time the trailers appear.

April 29th. It was moved recently, probably so it won't conflict with XXX2.

Does that mean that our trailer is moved up as well? Will we get the preview for Serenity in April? Can I contain my exitement? Does anyone know?

I'm assuming so, but have heard nothing for sure.

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for the info.

The new trailer is great. I love the bits with Marvin. The final montage did the job of blowing what was left of my synapses too ;)

Apparently they kept the Adams humour, good sign.
