Gina Torres, who played Zoe on Fox's canceled SF series Firefly, told SCI FI Wire that the show won't be back, despite the best efforts of producers to find another home for it. "We are canceled," Torres said in an interview. "We won't be on TV."

Not sure where this leaves us... I guess we'll be lucky to get a DVD set in the future and beyond that we cross our fingers for a movie at some point.

Hopefully Gina's not including the three unaired episodes when she says "we won't be on TV".

WASH: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction.
ZOE: We live in a space ship, dear.
WASH: So?

BROWNCOAT1

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Don't give up yet Browncoats! I have said it before and I will say it again, I give up when Joss & ME do.

"May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one."

GTHING

I am still hard at work with my fan fiction series. It is really coming together. This is my way of keeping Firefly alive no matter what happens.

I also plan to write to Fox about airing those three unaired episodes. I treasure my collection of recorded broadcasts, and I welcome new additions.

Exerpt from My Genre Geek Resume:
~huge Odyssey 5 fan (despite its cancellation)
~former Andromeda fan
