Me and some members of the Southeastern Browncoats will be manning a fan table in the dealer's room of Atlanta's premire !FREE Admission! Anime & Gaming con: Momocon ( www.momocon.com)

I will also be showing my my compeleted Browncoat's Uniform as seen partialy completed in the Blue Sun Room

The Southeastern Browncoats is a fan organization dedicated to the grassroots promotion of Joss Whedon's critically-acclaimed and short-lived series Firefly and the upcoming theatrical companion film Serenity.

At Momocon, the S.E.B.C will be showing the Serenity teaser trailer, numerous fanvideos, and sharing the latest buzz with all interested parties. The S.E.B.C will also be hosting its first ever Gorram Garage Sale! fundraiser offering over two hundred items for sale: comic books, graphic novels, anime & movie soundtracks, sci-fi/fantasy novels, vintage action figures, trading cards, anime/manga model kits and more.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center, a charity chaired by former "Firefly" cast member, Ron Glass.

How long has this event been going on? Just curious, it's the 1st time I've heard of it.

Its the comic-con teaser trailer that emerged from the panel at San Diego Comic-Con last summer.

Momocon is officialy in its first year, but it previously was previously held under the name "Techwood Con" last year. The orgaizers had a split due to differing visions of the convention, gaming focus + charging for admission vs. anime & gaming + free admission.

Sorry for the lack of response Auraptor, but I was at the con during your last post.

Anyhow, Momocon was a complete success. Attendees numbered over 700 according to the official count.
The SouthEastern Browncoats had a great time meeting
other Firefly fans and spreading the 'good word' to those unfamilar with the show.
