But, I'm coming down on my own so I'd definitely like to meet up with some of you guys, else I'm just going to be sitting there.

Quote:Originally posted by Zol: well, late breakfast, early lunch, I`m driving down in the morning - If you see a ford mondeo flash past you with someone shouting "The Gorram Reavers are coming" with green exhaust fumes coming from the rear of the car, that`ll be me Just wave your hands around & shout at the top of your voice "I AM PHOEBE!" that should get peoples attention Does anybody have an idea of where this meet up will be? at Hotel? or McDonalds (is there one nearby?) Drop me a line, certainly interested. Darin (Zol.)
Quote:Originally posted by PsychicRiver: I'd have to go with lunch too...seeing as I'm catching the train up there from suny Bognor Regis!! Ack! I feel sooo...young, and innocently nervous. This is all soo much. I might pee my pants! I'm only 16, and the only real solo journey I've ever made was to meet my family out in Majorca last year...so I guess this shouldn't be too hard. I'll post exactly what time/train I'm going on later...cos if anyone else is going on that train I'd be glad to meet them on there...and maybe share a taxi once we get there? Don't worry, it won't be awkward...I'm awfully chatty. But not in annoying way. Not much. And I'd like to meet fellow FFF'ers.

Since I guess those who aren't staying at the hotel, can't come in for food.... so if there's any kind of mcdonalds, etc etc nearby, that would be useful. Anybody with any inside knowledge into the area? *looks around*

You get breakfast included in the room rate. The breakfasts in the Thistle are absolutely gorgeous; all you can eat cooked stuff, cereal, pastries ... I *always* stock up at breakfast, since there mightn't be time to eat much during the day, and by nighttime I'm dying to go to bed and dreaming of breakfast! :D But yes. I don't understand how it'd be cheaper to not have breakfast.

This will be our first con and I wasn't sure if it was such a good idea taking our seven and ten year old girls. Do you know what the restrictions are, if any? Are they welcome at the panels etc? Any info you could give me would be great.

I was expecting it to be way more expensive...as I've heard at porevious Buffy conventions, you would have to play depending on how "big" the star...like £19 for Kristine Sutherland and like £39 for David Boreanaz. I'm soo excited. I can afford photos! With all of them! WOW!! *Head does a couple of 360 spins on my neck* Aaaaaaaaaaaahhh!! I just need to make sure I register in time!! Yay!! Quote:I still reckon a trip down into London in Browncoat gear to see Hitchhikers will be a must (even if they don`t show the Serenity Trailer - I`m sure it will probably happen at the con [probably via weblink from somebody in a movie theatre in the US as apparently their release date has been put forward too So, who`s up for Hitchhikers Guide? straight after registration and unpacking? haven`t got a cinema in mind so if anybody has got any ideas that will be cool too - and don`t forget to bring your browncoat too.
